Just read this I already wrote a review for the anime, I'm not doing it again. It's just fucking awesome. The characters, the romance, the friendship, the development, the realism , the comedy, everything. they're like real people, but with soulmates. It has well written normal introverts that aren't absolute pussies and good women who aren't just, you know, manga women. they're good. they're real. Just read this or watch it idk goddammit




MAL let me post this review please I just want people to know how simple yet awesome this is. Not to fight with the toradora or maid sama fans but this doesn't ... have any exaggerated characters or strage plot points. these are developed beautiful humans. anyway be ready, if you like weird drama this isn't for you. Horimiya is just heartwarming casual encounters of teenagers with life. and they react to them like teenagers.

(spoiler free) I'm gonna make it simple. For a romance anime/manga hater, this story really changed my views.

What I love so much about it that it truly makes you feel like the one living the love story is the reader. It's like the character's timing and decisionmaking is perfectly adjusted to what you're feeling at the moment. It really makes you feel in love.
All of the characters, including the girls and the protagonist's friends are great. I love how even though it's very focused on the love story it still gives the characters development and room for healthy friendships. It's lovely while still capturing ... hihschool expiriences amazingly. It rarely appears forced and the romance is beautiful. I actually give Kou, the main love interest, the title of "objectively the most attractive 2d man" becuase he really is incredible. The way the protagonists they affection and express their feelings is really heartwarming.
I have three complains for it. 1) Kou gets a lot of well written development during the story, but I really disliked the way his depression was "fixed". he was treating it really well until Futaba gave a kind of stupid speech that helped him a bit more than it shoud have. I doubt you can fix an issue that deep with that. 2)Futaba is selfish at times. But she knows it and tries to change (even though she fails a lot), so it could be considered a good thing. She's well written anyways. 3) In the ending there was a bit too much love. It had perfect pacing until then. It was still great of course, but it made me miss the perfectly regulated timing of the heavy lovely and deep moments.

t's objectively a seven yet for me personally it was an eight. I find myself being a romance anime hater AND an adulthood hater, but this anime kind of changed my perception of those two things. I enjoyed it so much.
The characters are great, they (and the plot) are the best example of amazing simplicity. Even though the main character is a classic outgoing pink ish girl, she's not one to hate. I found kabakura and koyanagi to be the best ones, but the love story between hirotaka and narumi is cute. i feel like even though this anime is weirdly ... cringe and lightweight, it shows the awkward and realistic parts of a relationship while still being cute.
The bad parts are that it gets a little boring sometimes and that the two main girls are fujoshis. they overuse the word otaku and it's honestly very cringe from time to time. but i loved it.It makes you strangely happy, like a comfort anime. this is the first romance anime i ever actually enjoyed, and i hope i can see more like this.

(edit): i actually saw more like it!! horimiya and ao haru ride. they're awesome.

Look, I gave t an 8. it's very good, but it leaves you wanting so much more. I really liked the plot and twists, but it made no sense because 1) the characters aren't compatible at all. I understand their feelings since anyone in the same position as them would do the same things they did, like crying and wanting to find eachother. but as people they didn't have any story together. 2) It feels incomplete. They don't even hug and the ending is open. ... We never got to see them actually talking or having a relationship. The movie is good but it could've been so much better.

Short thing. Overall: Good and interesting. .
What i like about kakegurui is that it definitely exploits it's potential as much as it's possible. in the end it's still just gambling (not a very interesting concept if you ask me) but at least they did their very best. Once again, an anime i doubt you would have as your favorite but a very enjoyable one. It's refreshing to see good female characters even though the setting they're put in isn't very dynamic. I found them really good but maybe if it had some sort of comedic or romantic aspect it would've been even better.
I ... would say that the outcome is slightly predictable but the process isn't. It keeps you hooked with the complexity. It's also very aesthetically pleasing.
I recommend this if you just don't know what to watch and you're tired of bad female representation. It's very interesting.

Haikyuu definitely makes volleyball take a turn.

It's just volleyball. but the best one you'll ever watch. it wasn't outstanding or groundbreaking, but that's the best part. haikyuu is perfectly crafted to make the best out of volleyball, and they do it good considering this was 10 episodes of the same match.

my "complain" for this season was that it kind of made you lost the sense of who are the main characters, hinata and kageyama, because i consider the best part of it to be tsukishima's development. it was amazing. seeing this realistic and well done stoic character show passion is one of the best ... feelings anime has given me, really. That's how haikyuu arms itself. it has amazing characters that never fail to surprise you and make you feel all sorts of emotions, even the characters in the opposing teams are great. in terms of characters, i would say only bnha and haikyuu get this far. admirable.

If you want to binge watch enjoyable shounen anime, this is your pick.

Let's start with the basics: The animation is so amazing it makes you scream. so good, god. something i don't see many people talk about, is that the sound and voice acting are also outstanding. And, at last, the story isn't innovative or incredible, but it sure is enjoyable.
My complain is that for a 26 epsiode anime, the two other characters (zenitsu and inosuke) should've been introduced earlier, since they add SO much more. many people think zenitsu is the best part of the show, personally i kinda agree but also think ... there's many other things and characters that deserve credit.

The character design and personality picks are great. since there isn't that much female participation other than nezuko's (who can't speak), we don't have the bad anime female problem. Nezuko is the cutest demon you could imagine.

Kimetsu no yaiba isn't for people that enjoy complex and innovatibe stuff, but rather for people that need a reminder of what good shounen is. it's great for binging, it lifts your mood, makes you happy. the slight bits of comedy and the amount of earrape are really wholesome. the character design and every single movement is so pretty, even the demons have interesting looks. right now, it's not something that has you at the edge of your seat because of the danger, but i think it will be after the 2nd season.
if you're an artist, then it's out of question no matter what your anime taste is, this watch is completely worth it just for the beautiful eyegasm you'll have with literally the slightest things, the characters and plot are just an addition.

Superficial, weird, boring, poorly writtten.
At first glance, it looks amazing. You expect a show about a powerful and interesting dominant female (which anime lacks), a love story and a great team of young people that fight for humanity's sake in (impractical) but cool robots . Sadly, you get the exact opposite. It's very hard to make something this bizarre but at the same time boring. The love stories and the main character's feelings make no sense. They're 14 year old kids that don't act like real teens at all, talking about and EXPIRIENCING human reproduction. They give love speeches and talk in really cringey ... ways, which wouldn't be a problem if they were well constructed. The show is heavliy sexualizing minors in the weirdest of ways, with no comedy or deep meaning at all. Zero two and Hiro, the main characters, appear original and complex. I like the gender equality, because instead of just making the girl awful, they made sure the guy was also awful. Zero two is super possesive, unexplainable and annoying, her whole life revolves around Hiro, who she (annyingly) calls "her darling". A few episodes later she suddenly changes into a nice boring girl. Hiro on the other hand, is always boring.They develop feeligs for eachother in the weirdest of ways, and so do the other couples. They're always giving cringe love speeches.
The other characters are bland and weird too. The plot was also dull and had so many plot holes or overall things that were only scripted so it would be a little more captivating. It's overall tedoius, weird and poorly written. A wasted concept.
