Overall: I thought overall, Myself; Yourself, was a very good anime, though the problem lies in the fact that it set itself up to be something extremely good, but didnt manage to deliver the amazingness that it seemed like it was going to... I would give it a 8.5, but you cant give a half score so it will be a 8.
Story: This is where the Myself; Yourself both stands out and fails in, though the story is not all too special in the beginning, they reveal more and more interesting pasts of the characters. Unfortunately, the ending was what did it in, they built
...
up the suspense and drama for the end, but didnt have anything that really wowed me, its like loading a giant firework, lighting the fuse, and it just kind of disappears, no giant awesome explosion or anything... for the story, you can feel that it is being rushed, especially near the end. it would have done much better if they didnt end it the way they did and made it a full 24-26 ep season instead of a half season series.
Art: Nice colorful environments and the level of detail for the background is very good, on rare occasions, you can notice that theres something in the art that is a little off if you pay very close attention to the art, but there is nothing really noticeable normally.
Sound: I liked the opening and the closing theme songs, however there are points once in a while where the BGM didnt really fit too well with the mood...
Character: Though most of the characters are generic anime romance personalities, I thought they worked quite well together, though they dont get very many points on being very original on character development...
Enjoyment: I thought it was well worth watching, though in the end the ending will most likely upset many viewers. Watching the story progress was quite entertaining, and if you take out the fact that the ending was rushed and out of character, its a great romance anime.

Overall: 9/10
I found this series to be quite entertaining, however, its not without its flaws. I look back and think that this really isnt actually epic material, just really good.
Story: 6/10
Now that I have read the manga for Elfin Lied, I realize how little of the real story there really is in the anime, though whats in the anime is entertaining nonetheless. The whole situation with diclonus and Lucy is much more complex then they let on in the anime. Plus this has one of those open ends as well, so no real conclusion is reached in the anime.
Art: 9/10
the art was actually well done
...
in my opinion, tons of blood and gore, which was actually decently animated. I havent found any real problems with the art. Some people say theres just too much nudity in this series, however, I dont see any problem with that, if you are an experimental animal in a research facility, would you expect to have clothes?
Sound: 9/10
the opening is quite interesting, and I say it fits the anime pretty well. also the BGM never interfered with the mood or anything so I have no complaints when it comes to sound.
Character: 8/10
though they revealed a couple pivotal moments in the main characters lives, they still have a ways to go in character development. the manga delved much deeper, but I guess that is to be expected when the anime is only 13 episodes long.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I personally liked watching this show, it wasnt really all that strong in the horror field, its mostly blood and gore for scaring, but I found the story to be pretty interesting and many of the story climaxes did well in my book.

I recommend not watching Higurashi no naku koro ni unless you plan on watching ALL of the 1st AND 2nd season (Higurashi no naku koro ni kai)! Without watching both, its like having the pieces of a puzzle and not knowing how they fit together, it wont make any sense
Overall: 10/10
I came across this series randomly, and I noticed that it had a very good average rating, so I decided to give it a whirl, now Im very glad that I found it. I really loved this series, though the first season is a little flawed, it still deserves a place in the greats. Every
...
story arc had its say in the odd collection of mysterious stories of psychopathic killing and death.
Story: 8/10 (1st season alone 10/10 when watched with 2nd season)
This one of the things that gets me, unless you continue in the Higurashi series, the story in Higurashi no naku koro ni is very random and unexplainable, by itself, Higurashi no naku koro ni is a collection of different situations that all lead to killing and death... unfortunately they dont explain exactly why all the events occur, therefore there is pretty much a requirement to watch the 2nd season, Higurashi no naku koro ni kai, to understand everything. All the episodes are like pieces of a puzzle. Apart, they dont seem like anything that will awe you, hell, when you put together story arcs they even look like random yet interesting fillers, but once you have most the pieces of the puzzle, you can get the last pieces and put it together by watching the 2nd season, then from the seemingly random and pointless pieces, you put together an amazing picture that almost no other series can match.
Art: 8/10
the art is a little sketchy sometimes, especially when characters go insane, their faces are horribly contorted, and though it adds to the feeling that they are not normal anymore, the art still looks somewhat odd during those times. however, if you look past that, overall, the art is of good quality.
Sound: 9/10
The opening is a pretty good tone setter for such a kind of anime, its a freaky kind of feeling that you get throughout the series. the BGM didnt bother me any, and it actually did a pretty good job at setting the mood. The sound effects however are quite good and plenty of splattering and crunching is to be heard from all the killing, pretty believable sounds of killing if I do say so myself.
Character: 10/10
This is one of Higurashi's strong points, whenever something horrible happens, they reveal what really happened later, which sheds much light onto the reasons as to why such acts are committed. it delves deep into the different psyches of the characters and reveals their pasts and their worries. You see clearly the reasons why they snap and go on murderous rampages...
Enjoyment: 10/10
I really loved this show, many times it delivered the kind of horror that you would feel only if a psychotic killer was after you, and other times, its like watching a slice of life anime, one thing is certain, the strange happenings in the little town of Hinamizawa are all interesting to watch, though you might need some mental strength because of the intense violence shown sometimes (disembowelment is shown once and torture a couple times). This is something you dont want to show kids, itll give them intense nightmares if they see certain parts of this...
Ive noticed that some random person gave Higurashi a bad score and claimed it was a harem and its just a bunch of fillers, hes only seen 5/50 episodes of Higurashi and has only seen a very small (and I mean VERY small) fraction of the full perspective of the situation in Hinamizawa, and its DEFINITELY NOT a harem, its a very bloody story about friendship and trust. Watch it all the way through and watch the 2nd season as well to fit the pieces together, then you will really know why so many people like Higurashi.

Overall: I really liked Fate/stay Night the anime, partially because I am a pretty big Type-Moon fan, overall this anime was well done with no big weaknesses.
Story: The story is actually mostly based off the "Fate" path of the game and is well done, everything flows into place in time, there are shockers of course, but they never threw in stuff that made no sense whatsoever.
Art: I personally really liked the art, obviously it is Type-Moon style with minor changes, and the models are all well done, though the main character is a bit plain on his fashion statement.
Sound: The first opening is a remix
...
of the game opening, and the second is quite good, overall the music puts a good impression on me and I found no flaws with the BGM as well.
Character: Here is where it got me, the main character will be quite annoying for the first half of the series because of his attitude on girls, but besides that fact, the characters are done quite well and you can understand that everyone has a role to play in this "holy grail war".
Enjoyment: I personally liked Fate/stay Night the anime very much though it is not as good as the game, and I recommend the game to those appropriate (18+).

Overall: You are going to have to watch the first season of Full Metal Panic to fully understand what is going on, though its not really necessary, I personally started the FMP series with this season so it helps to watch the first season. To be brief, FMP: Fumoffu is a collection of fillers that fit in between the episodes of the first season. Basically, FMP: Fumoffu, is to be watched "FOR TEH LULZ".
Story: Well, its a bunch of fillers, so theres no almost no connection between the other FMP seasons and Fumoffu story wise, but each episode has its own separate story and nearly
...
all of them are absolutely hilarious.
Art: Very good, they didnt cut corners or anything so overall the art is colorful and I havent noticed any bland art moments
Sound: The opening is very good and there were no parts of the bgm where I felt that the music hindered the mood.
Character: There is not much character development in Fumoffu, but coming off the first season, its not hard to understand the characters.
Enjoyment: I had plenty of moments where I bust out laughing because of the ridiculous situations. The humor is not hard to understand compared to other comedy series. I would say most people will have a great time watching this, unless comedy isnt their thing...

Overall: Iriya no Sora, was a very touching anime, albeit short with only 6 episodes. I enjoyed watching this series very much.
Story: Its a sci-fi kind of romance story, that I dig, so some people arent into the romance thing, and its up to them if they wish to watch. One thing is that since there are only a few episodes, they didnt do very much explaining, some things are left completely in the dark.
Art: The art was very good, usually pretty colorful and rich, especially in those memorable moments where you feel kinda warm and fuzzy inside.
Sound: Not a bad opening and closing for
...
this kind of anime, and there were no objectionable bgms either.
Character: They didnt have much time to develop the characters, however, the main characters were quite memorable, especially Iriya.
Enjoyment: I have to say that im a big fan of romance anime so I enjoyed this series very much, however if you dont really like romance, then there isnt much else that may get you hooked, so its a kind of love hate thing.

Overall: I really loved this series, I would call it a "mecha done right" where it has a light hearted feel though there are plenty of deep moments. if you love mecha, or sci-fi, or action anime in general, then this will definitely be an enjoyable experience, Even if you dont like mecha, like me, there is still a good chance you will love Gurren Lagann, so I recommend everyone give it a try.
Story: Though the story is not awfully deep or super complex, its enough to keep the series going, and going, all the way to the end. it goes from fighting in a
...
village all the way to cosmic proportions.
Art: Its not the best art of all time, the animation style is somewhat like FLCL, but it does a good job in portraying the situation almost all the time. Though the art style will turn some people off, since its FLCL style Mecha.
Sound: Very catchy opening, and most of the endings are good, I never found the soundtrack to be in the way of the mood ever.
Character: Though they actually didnt go into much depth in the characters except for a few, all the characters are lovable and hard to forget.
Enjoyment: I enjoyed myself fully throughout the entire series, it kept me glued to the screen for the entire 26 episodes. Many will find Gurren Lagann irresistible.

Overall: Spice and Wolf is a very nice kind of alternative to watch compared to most of the mainstream series out there, It does a very good job in keeping me entertained, though there is a large amount of dialog to explain situations however, I do have to say they didnt actually "finish" the story, the series cuts off at the end leaving me wanting more, hopefully there will be a continuation. I would have actually given a 10/10 if they finished the story, but 13 episodes is nowhere near enough for this kind of anime to finish.
Story: there actually wasnt much action on part
...
of the main plot, but their adventures proved to be very interesting, showing more about each of the main characters with each episode, though the series felt like it was ended somewhat abruptly story wise, besides that, the story arcs proved very entertaining so it deserves praise for what it has.
Art: Very good quality art in my opinion, the environments were usually pretty rich and colorful.
Sound: The opening is pretty catchy though its slow, and the ending is just weird, but the music in the background really helped in setting the mood usually.
Character: there wasnt much time to really do any character development, since it is only about 12 episodes (non-dvd) and the side characters never really stood out that much, but it felt like I knew Horo and Lawrence pretty well, and they showed that they are pretty deep characters.
Enjoyment: I really enjoyed watching this series, it kept me tuned in throughout the entire duration. It is a shame that it only lasts 12 or 13 episodes, this series really deserves a continuation because of how well done it was, at least in my opinion.

Overall: overall, I was pretty much impressed in how much of the game they fit in the 12 episodes, for those who dont know , Tsukihime the anime is an adaption of the visual novel of the same name, a best seller in Japan and well known as well. if you liked the anime, I suggest trying out the visual novel ONLY IF YOU ARE 18+,
I personally liked it very much.
Story: though they cut some of the story arcs short because of limited episodes, it did a good job in providing a moving and interesting story, though parts of the story in the game
...
are cut out, it was still acceptable since it didnt interrupt with the anime's flow much.
Art: though the models in the anime are different from the ones in the game and the manga, they did well in my opinion, even if Shiki looked more plain then in the game and manga.
Sound: well, the opening wasnt really a catchy song or anything, but the background music during the episodes didnt do bad.
Character: I guess they didnt have enough time to go into much depth in the characters, there is much more about the characters then stated in the anime, and characters are actually all quite complex.
Enjoyment: I liked everything after the first couple episodes, probably because I read the manga before watching and they smashed the first story arc into just 3 episodes. besides that I really enjoyed watching this, though I wasnt satisfied with the ending of the anime though.

Overall: It was painful to remember about this anime, Ranma is sort of your typical pointless anime, no good story, no real point to the entire story, and defiantly not funny enough to be considered a good comedy series... it deserves to be lumped up in the pile of "boredom-inducing-fillertasitc" anime, along with Naruto, Inuyasha, and others...
Story: they laid out the story in the first episode, ranma is engaged to akane because of odd circumstances, and they didnt advance whatsoever till the very end, actually, it didnt have a story at all pretty much, just random junk happening, if you like a massive pile of
...
fillers, this is your thing.
Art: its old school, but its not that impressive or anything, not bad, not good either. The art seems really bland compared to the Anime of today, so if you are just starting this out, you will notice that really easily, though I'm not saying old school anime is not good...
Sound: well, nothing really outstanding here, no epic soundtrack or anything...
Character: theres not that much depth in the characters and they introduce them by the dozens, even the main characters are not that deep, it feels like they just slapped it together out of randomness and kept going not knowing where to go.
Enjoyment: well its ok the first couple episodes you watch, though it goes downhill from there, it never really picks up or goes on an epic story arc or anything, just pointless random bickering and fighting. It gets old very fast, even with the mass produced new characters.
