Action, Drama and Complexity all rolled into one! Code Geass, R2 takes all the promise of it's predecessor and builds on it, becoming without a doubt one of the best anime second seasons out there. Here's a breakdown of the scores: [warning, spoilers may apply!]
1. Story. The story picks up a year after the last season ended. Despite the gap, the story is immediately engaging, and with enough background that a newcomer wouldn't be completely lost. So, ten out of ten.
2 and 3. It may be cheating, but I usually wad these two sections into one and call it 'style.' For style, I give this

Where to even begin this review?
First, let me say that I'm usually anti-mainstream. I don't usually watch anime that has a great following in America [as I think that defeats the purpose] in any case, this is one of the notable exceptions. I didn't really know how popular this anime was before I began watching it. Now, I'm glad to say that all the hype that goes around it is completely warranted. It is, without a doubt, one of the best anime out there as far as plot goes. The entire production is well done from beginning to end, starting strongly, not lagging in the ... May 14, 2011

In short, this anime is excellent in the fact that it doesn;t revolve around guns and action, but it's not slow and dragging. The idea of a doctor saving lives is excellent, and the dramatic [and some times a little ridiculous] ways is more than entertaining. I've watched most of these episodes three and more times, and will probably continue to do so. The animation may seem a little too childish, but I assure you that the subject matter isn't really. And, it's generally accurate, so you may learn a little anatomy at the same time. I highly recommend this anime, both to first time

This series gets excellent marks for the depth of the characters and the 'off the beaten path' way it deals with a familiar idea: that being an assassin who doesn't want to kill any more. Although quite humorous, the series does have plenty of good depth to it, without being depressingly dark. The biggest thing I have against it is a strange sub-plot line after the primary one [potential spoiler!] that takes up the last few episodes. The only other complaint I have is that the animation itself can get a bit strange in parts, and difficult to understand in the action bits.

Cooking Master Boy is an anime about a boy who happens to be really good at cooking [obviously] much to the surprise of the people he meets along the way. Despite it's rather plain subject matter, I give the series high marks for the enjoyment that comes with watching it. Although not a fan at first, I was hooked by the fifth episode and watched faithfully to the end. Although simplistic, the artistry grabs the eye and the sound, although plain, grabs for the heart. I especially enjoyed hearing the dub in Cantonese, as the voice actors were excellent. I would recommend this series to
