MC with tons of potential is introduced to the stunning world of Aikatsu/Prism Shows and joins a school specifically for instruction in that and makes a big splash in the idol world.

If you liked Saiunkoku Monogatari add

...then you might like Akatsuki no Yona add

Similar feels, similar female protagonists. Special main girl who has a cult following of powerful, beautiful men who would give their lives to protect her. She is not a helpless Mary-Sue type female, and is very strong and determined and even inspirational. This anime gave me feels. Definitely one of my favorite anime, along with Yona. If you loved Yona, you will LOVE Saiunkoku Monogatari.

If you liked Cross Game add

...then you might like Diamond no Ace add

Both are about baseball and wanting to bring one's team to Koshien. Whereas Diamond no Ace is more about the sport and nothing but the sport, Cross Game brings a lot more to the table, such as drama and romance. Although I find both to be very enjoyable anime, Cross Game holds a special place in my heart...it is one of the best anime I have ever seen (go to my profile--I've seen A LOT of anime) and is definitely the best sports anime I've seen yet. If you like Diamond no Ace and baseball animes in general, you MUST watch Cross Game!

If you liked Tenkuu no Escaflowne add

...then you might like Himiko-den add

Both have female protagonists sent to a medieval-ish looking world to help restore a land that was taken over/ravaged by a neighboring country. The girls have powers and try to help while looking for a way back to their own world. It's very similar, trust me.

If you liked Cross Game add

...then you might like Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. add

They both have stories that kind of center on the male protagonist's deceased childhood friend/girlfriend, and both give off the same kind of feeling.

If you liked Glass no Kamen (2005) add

...then you might like Skip Beat! add

Glass Mask is about a young 13-year-old girl, Maya Kitajima, who has no specific talent for anything--except acting. Once she is discovered by an old, famous actress, she is taken under her wing and trained into an amazingly talented, award-winning actress, all the while striving to beat out her rival, acting prodigy Ayumi Himekawa, for the role that made her mentor famous: the Scarlet Angel in "The Scarlet Angel". While Glass Mask is more stage acting oriented, there are certain times where they go into acting for TV shows and movies like Kyoko does in Skip Beat. Glass Mask has a lot more drama than Skip Beat and isn't as funny, but it has about the same amount of romance, if not more, than Skip Beat does. Glass Mask is my favorite anime of all time, to be honest, and is much, much better than Skip Beat. So, if you loved Skip Beat, I STRONGLY suggest you watch the anime that is based off of a manga that was the #1 bestselling shoujo manga in Japan for 30 years (it's #2 now, but yeah--and yes, it's an old series, but it still isn't complete yet!). Trust me, you will not regret it. :)
