- Cute, simple character designs - wholesome romance story where there aren't wayyy to many misunderstandings or harem tropes - just the right amount of comedy and has a lovable cast of characters ! - same vibe, if you've watched one of these, highly recommend you watch the other

- top notch reverse harem (except...it's more lowkey?? not every character is completely head over heels for the MC, but the MC is so pure and wholesome and makes them each into better people!!) - hilarious, great OP and ED songs haha - not a fantasy setting, but set in a school for the rich, so they're basically royalty

- W H O L E S O M E - pure, precious MC. Everyone loves her. A lil dense. Just like bakarina - hilarious, and you're rooting for the MC like every other character in the show - no romance or isekai, but set in a fantasy rpg game world! Has a lot of fun elements of being in a virtual fantasy world, and also deals with magic

- cute wholesome relationships! - comedy, but also well developed characters - good balance of both female and male characters who have screen time - not a reverse harem and focuses more on four relationships, but also lots of group friendship dynamics and well written romance - hard not to love all the characters! refreshing to watch and enjoy :)

Banana Fish is definitely darker, but I would say they're pretty similar in terms of their pacing of drama and mystery, as well as their rivalry with mafia gangs. Both can get pretty dark and emotional, but there's still humour and great soundtrack. Loved the way the characters in both shows are built up over time as well.

Wholesome boys being boys!! If you like one or the other, they're both pretty sweet, surprisingly emotional and funny stories about friendship between a group of pretty diverse boys.
