Note to new viewers: Do not be discouraged by the reviews. The negative review is caused mostly because the animation is different from the 1996/1997 anime even if they claim review is because of the plot. How can the plot be 4/10, it closely mirrors the same one as in the manga which is definitely NOT 4/10. If you are like me, who can see past the animation (to be honest I like the animation better), watch away. Personally I havent read the manga since Im a visual person so this continuation I found very enjoyable.
Guts is still the same: quiet, driven, tough, kind.

I am reviewing this based on how much I enjoyed it, not because of the animation style (CGI) like the other reviewers. Personally I dont mind CGI, I cant even spot whether an anime is CGI or not.
Story (8/10) - I liked the story, MC gets thrown into fantastical world as hero, local deity who summoned him is more evil than the dark lord hero is called upon to vanquish, so MC vows to kill said deity (and I hope he makes the bish suffer - I hate her so much).
