Story:
Basic isekai. But what makes the story stand out is the world building. I love how they explain the magic system and the echoes that gods can send. It doesn't do it all in a long exposition but spaces it out that it feels natural.
I also enjoy the build-up for Will's strength and skill. He's not automatically talented in things-though he is considered somewhat of a genius. I like it when they use training to stimulate character interaction.
Art:
The fact that I don't see oversexualized woman is already a huge plus to me. Where I am right now, I enjoy the character design

Story:
The beginning isn't very fun, although I blame that more on the characters which I will look at later. The first half acted like this big fetch quest and I wanted to see some smart heist plays. I'm surprised I stuck around that long because the heist was very boring- nothing intelligent or creative about it. Everyone had a role and they just played it and it was just that easy. The whole thing does get better as soon as they are done that specific quest. The twist is good and suddenly there is character development. The last 3 episodes saved the entire series for me ...

I'm salty about some of the reviews on here. This anime deserves more credit than people give it.
Story: The story is basic. It's a typical high school anime with a club involved. But it's about kabuki. There aren't a lot of kabuki animes in general.Because of that, it might be difficult for people to get into. Art: It's alright. I like the design of the characters. Sound: Not anything to scream about but it's not bad. ... |
