This will be a combined Review of the original Shaman king manga and the Kazenban ending.
SPOILERS--
Introduction--
Reading this series for the first time is probably the best time i've ever had reading. The Characters, the comedy, and just thinking about the series and analyzing each little detail was amazing experience to me.
Side Characters--
Each important side character could've had their own show. One of my personal Favorites is Horohoro or Usui Horokeu. At around 3/4 into the series its reveal that he was hiding things to everyone else. He wasn't showing his true self. This thing he was hiding was the he killed his girl. His Selfish
...
acts caused her death. He had been carrying the burden of that for his whole life since is occurred. It's like a Nightmare but the nightmare doesn't end. because you cant just simply not feel such a guilty burden.
Yoh Asakura--
Yoh Asakura or the main character of the Shaman King Franchise. My Personal #1 Mc OAT. Yoh Asakura from the get-go was put with a burden of defeating Hao Asakura ( The main villain, more on him later). Yoh and Hao are twin brothers btw. Yoh's parents and grandparents Knew Hao was going to reincarnate as a Asakura. So the decision The parents and grandparents had to make was if they were willing to kill both of the twins right after they we're born. just to eliminate the chances of Hao coming back. The thing was that they were Identical Twins, so you couldn't tell them apart as baby's. Once Hao was born the grandfather hesitated and hao got away with his spirit. Yoh being left as the only hope for the Asakura Family. That what makes Yoh's Life so important is the fact that if they didnt hesitate to kill the twins Yoh wouldn't ever exist. This whole story of Hao and Yoh wouldn't exist. But Since they didn't kill the twins. eventually at the end of the series Hao did up becoming the Shaman king, not meaning Yoh failed. They made up or rather, they showed Hao the truth. Yoh ending up being a dad and Hao as the shaman king, more fitting roles imo.
Hao Asakura--
Hao Asakura or the main villian of the Shaman King Franchise is Yoh's Twin Brother (mc). I freaking love this dude, he is such a cool and interesting character. Why i think that just listen to this: He is the Twin brother of Yoh, but since he can reincarnate. So hes also his approximately Yoh great, great , great, great, great, great, great , great, great grandfather as well. because his first life was 100 years ago before he was in his third life during the series. being able to reincarnate every 500 years.
Getting more into his Character.
All good villains Usually have a reason or goal for doing the things they did. Hao commiting genocide and wanting to wipe humanity, his reasoning was somewhat acceptable. In His first life, His mother was killed because back then shamans were portrayed as demons. But in Actuality Demons and Humans in The world of Shaman king and in Haos eyes, Humans and Demons are definitions rather than races. Humans or rather Mankind, is the cause of The world being so wicked. Demons being Created from Mankind's cruelty. The reason Hao's mother was killed was because she could she ghost, and she was portrayed (by the public) a demon.
SO haos reasoning to commit genocide and destroy mankind and to make a world of only demons was because his Mother, the only one who even cared about was killed for something she couldn't control. It's not like this isnt happening in real life ( to a extent). If you look at the youth, even a middle school. Kids are being bullied because of a medical condition, "being ugly", or uncontrollably obese. These kids at such a young age have to go through that just because some kids think they're above other people. It is a bit different from haos perspective tho, Hao's perspective is a perspective from one who is suffering the most from this type of conflict, even more than his mother. Thats because Hao cared so much for his mother he would do anything to revenge her. Hao wanting to have revenge is what makes him a human, a type of human he hates. He is making other people suffer greatly because of his own actions, just like the people who kill his mother. Making him the biggest Hypocrite lmao.
Make sure to read shaman king if you havent already.

Spoilers btw
So i absolutely loved this anime. shaman king. the power system is amazing. i love the characters. i also really enjoyed the adventure they went to defeat hao.
a MAJOR problem w it.
the ending. When i say the ending im talking about the original rushed ending. it really felt like hao was left as a hollow character with really no reason to why he did the things he did.
If you have watched it and liked it until the ending, read the manga and tazenban (the 2021 ending).ill make a much better review once i finish the manga btw.

Spoilers for Naruto
Naruto
This was my ever anime I had ever consumed and boy was I enjoying that shit.
The characters, fights, story, and enjoyment were amazing. The way I felt about the characters felt genuine.
In this review i'll be talking about the points that really stood out to be in Chapter 1 of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto Story.---|
Pre Conflict with Mizuki--|
Naruto as a kid was Hated by the village that he couldn't control. They hated him because of what was inside him. They hated him out of fear. They feared what was inside him, judged him by what was inside him, a monster (to
...
them). But didn't see him for what HE was. They hated him because he posed a threat to them. he could kill everyone at the village at any moment. They saw him as Kurama and not as Naruto Uzamaki. Even the one closes to him at the time Iruka had some deep faint hatred for Naruto seeing him as the nine tailed fox and not as them being separate beings. He hated him because of what Kurama did to Iruka's parents, Iruka thinking they we're the same being. Bringing me to my next point, The fight against Mizuki.
The fight against Mizuki---|
When Iruka found out Naruto had stolen the sacred scroll he was disappointed. Only seeing the conflict through the eye's of what Mizuki had planned. To make it ALL blamed on Naruto, even though his life was already shitty. But the second Iruka realized it was Mizuki who used Naruto emotions of wanting to be not hated by the village to get him to steal the scroll. He saw Naruto has someone else, not the nine tailed fox. But as Naruto Uzamaki, as a Human. During the battle Iruka saved naruto, Showing that he believed that Naruto could become Hokage. IMO that's what really showed naruto that it was time to get to work. to achieve his dreams.
Notes--|
Be honest did any of you actually read that? if you did, i appreciate it
I'll MAYBE make a full review and analysis on the full series.

Im back
Chapter 2
(Im probably not going to do this for every chapter btw)
Intro with Konohamuru--|
Konohamuru Is Introduced as someone who is only known for his family, not for him. He was always known for him being the 3rd Hokage's grandson and not for being Konohamuru.
Konohamurus and Narutos meeting--|
When Naruto held him by the neck He was treating him like a normal person. When Ebitsu Told Naruto that he was the 3rd Hokage's Grandson, he didnt care. He punched Konohamuru. Konohamuru was surprised that he didn't care about who he was in blood, but who Konohamuru was as him, Konohamuru.
Why Konohamuru wanting Naruto has a teacher--|
Konohamuru wanted naruto has his mentor rather than Ebitsu was Most likely in my eyes was because Naruto saw him has just a brat, a normal person. The first person to, everyone treating Konohamuru like he was amazing because of his grandpa.
That's it. tbh honest i was kinda lazy. see ya guys at the next review <3\
im back
btw- skipping chapter 3
Chapter 4- Kakashi intro
Naruto Childish Nature---
While part of why Naruto is so childish is because he is a child, but I believe that to be part of the picture. When he tries to prank Kakashi, it seems like an attempt to fit in. However, he does not have a good perception of this. He never played with friends or anything like that. He could only observe from a far. A lot of human habits happen because other people do, humans copy other humans. But when you don't really have much humans around you, this can be difficult. These are signs of early mental issues with Naruto.
Sakura uninvolved with Naruto---
Sakura whole personality up to this point is revolved around Sasuke. On page 3, we see it directly. Inside she is of childish nature, similar to Naruto. But she doesn't want to have anything to do with Sasuke.
Kakashi's Deliberate lateness--
The whole reason Naruto is doing this prank is because Kakashi is late. While some might see this has part of his personality, i think this is kind of a test for the three of them. Of course its not like Kakashi didn't know about Naruto and Sasuke. I mean anyone at his level know the position of the two boys. However, kakashi most likely wanted to see how they thought as a group. Naruto - doing the prank Sakura- trying to stop it Sasuke- does not care.
Sorry for the haitus-had to walk my fish cya

Hugh where do I get started...
This show is about a dumbass teenage girl annoying the fuck about her "boyfriend". I guess i could see why some people might enjoy this show for the comedy. but to me it was just basic "anime" comedy. I just didnt really find her banana loving self funny in anyway.
She as a character just really pissed me off. The mother of her was pathetic, she was depending on A-kun to carry her daughter in life. Which imo is bad parenting. That's making your daughter to think she can just rely on people to figure out things for her. when at
...
that point of her life learn skills to take care of her house. Instead of acting like a 5 year old all the time.
I know Kids shouldnt mature fast so they can "enjoy" their childhoood. which i get, but that goes to a certain extent. you have to atleast mature a little bit at the age of a highschooler.

This anime is often praised for some reason. I don't know if its the deaths or something but people overrate this show. imo it shouldn't be above 6.
The way they played of the deaths made it feel rushed. The character reacted very little to none. He cried and was sad for a few moments. But a few seconds later he was fine. I know he just met them. but it seemed that he did care about them. but the characters death made it feel like he didnt care.
The Main Characters death was something. It felt quite basic for him just to die forgetting about
...
his villaige. the whole reason he came to the main city was to make money for his villaige. but he just about forgot about that. He didnt really do much to distribute to his villaige.
