Female lead characters have a split personality. Group of girls around the male main character. Supernatural. Male lead characters have similar personalities. Elfen Lied is more of a thriller, whereas Rosario to Vampire is more of a supernatural high school anime.

Both anime include hunting ghosts/spirits. The aim is to help other people. In Dubbed both anime have the same voice actors for most of the main characters. (Kazuya = Kimihiro) (Mai = Himawari) (Lin = Doumeki) (Ayako = Yuuko). Both supernatural. I personally like the art style better in Ghost Hunt and feel it's a more realistic anime. There's more character development in Ghost Hunt and the characters are more likable.

Characters have special magical abilities. People divided into groups (For example- Fairy Tail: the Fairy Tail guild. Naruto: the hidden leaf village.) Some groups are good and some groups are bad. Focus's on one particular group who fight evil. Naruto and Natsu have similar personalities. The groups split into smaller teams to go on missions. Fairy Tail was without a doubt a more interesting and character/relationship building anime than Naruto. I feel that Naruto gets repetitive and there's too many filler episodes, whereas in Fairy Tail every episode is exciting and you start to feel attachment towards characters. Fairy Tail brings out more emotions in the viewer than Naruto would and the Fairy Tail music is much better than Naruto's music, however the sound track for both anime are great.

The monsters appear to be human/ disguise themselves as humans. The monsters eat humans. Main male character in both anime have a similar personality. Main female character in both anime have a similar personality. The two main characters in both anime have a similar relationship. Although Tokyo Ghoul is a more popular anime than Claymore, I would say that Claymore is a lot better in terms of character and story wise. The characters in Claymore have interesting backstories, some of which are upsetting and it certainly makes the anime interesting and emotional. In Tokyo Ghoul I didn't feel any emotion or any particular attachment to the characters or the anime.

-Both creepy and produce the same atmosphere. -Both based in a town. -School boy recently moves to town (both main characters). -All events appear to center around a girl. -Both have a good plot and character development. -Both are "horror". I found Shiki to be more interesting than Another and felt the character development was also stronger in Shiki. Another is aimed at a slightly younger audience than Shiki.
