I thought I could finish this series, but after some thought, I realized it really wasn’t worth my time at all. Every time I think about it, I just get frustrated. I had high hopes because the manga was so highly praised, but I was honestly shocked at how much the story disappointed me. It felt like something I could’ve come up with in my own Asian fanfic. I know that sounds harsh, but really—what was the point of this story?
I'm only talking about the anime adaptation here (since I don’t plan to read the manga, and maybe it answers some of these issues, but
...
my review is based on the anime). The concept and the storyline started off really strong. The world-building and setup for the political drama were intriguing, and I was hooked. But then the moment Nina and Prince Azure started falling in love, the story just became so flat. Here’s the thing—how did they fall in love when they barely knew each other? The show didn’t give enough time for their relationship to develop, which made their feelings feel shallow and rushed. Honestly, I didn’t feel any chemistry between them.
The show could have taken a more interesting turn if only it had focused on Nina navigating life as a fake princess and trying to figure out her path as a priestess (like, why keep mentioning her blue eyes if you won't delve deeper into that?). But instead, the characters just became so frustrating. I couldn’t stand the second male lead, and Nina? She’s selfish, impulsive, inconsiderate, and honestly so dumb. I don’t mind a clueless main character, but at least let them grow. Nina’s impulsiveness was treated like a quirky charm, but all it did was put everyone in danger, especially Azure and her lady in waiting. She repeatedly threatens his position and yet every time, she gets saved without ever learning from her mistakes. It honestly made me want to slap some sense into her.
Azure could’ve been an interesting character, especially when we learn about his backstory, but he was pushed aside too quickly. We immediately shift to a new storyline and get introduced to new characters, making his character easy to forget. As for Sett, I usually love villains especially ones with white hair, but this guy’s just a jerk. I really tried to connect with both male characters, but I just couldn’t. And that unnecessary sexual assault attempt scene? Not only was it uncomfortable, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, I just felt let down and frustrated by the whole experience.

How did this even get a high rating? Lol.
I'm okay with a toxic romance (even more if it's a messed-up one), but this was creepy and disgusting.
First of all, the guy had been targeting the girl all along. They become drinking buddies at a bar and have a good dynamic (at least that's what the female lead thinks). But one day, she gets drunk and tipsy, and the guy offers to walk her home. They end up doing it. Well, he kisses her, even though she couldn't fight against it. So I'm sorry, this is rape.
Straight up disgusting. Not to mention, he keeps forcing himself
...
on her multiple times and kissing her against her will when it's so obvious she hates that.

Its good enough for what its trying to convey. But it pissed me off with how they ended. It was such lazy writing for the final episode. Anyway, this was a good show, pretty enjoyable, and got a bit depressing.
The cinematography is insanely pretty, but the CGI is so bad that I just have to ignore it every time they show the fish. The characters (except for Hana and Takaaki) were just there, even though we could have much more interaction between them and Hiro, and I thought they could pull off the 'found family' theme so well. Unfortunately no, since I guess it
...
just wants us to focus on Hiro's determination in life and dealing with his illness.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword is an engrossing magical adventure story that takes place in a world where warriors and wizards coexist and compete for supremacy. The show centers on Will Serph, a regular boy without magical abilities living in a world where strong magic users rule. Despite lacking natural magical ability, he is determined to ascend to the top of the magical realm using a sword—an unusual weapon in a world where wands are the norm.
The animation is really bright and insanely beautiful, with the action scenes standing out as fluid and intense. The magical spells, and character designs are visually appealing. With an engaging
...
narrative, the pacing strikes a balance between action and storytelling, enabling viewers to fully enjoy Will's journey.
The character development in Wistoria: Wand and Sword is one of my favorite aspects in the series. The plot is made more complex by Will's interactions with other characters, each of whom has special skills and motivations. Will's perseverance and personal development are at the heart of the narrative. The anime also addresses themes such as tenacity and the conflict between innovation and tradition; Will's use of a sword serves as a symbol of his defiance of social norms.
Even though Wistoria follows a formula that is common to many shounen anime, it offers enough unique elements to keep viewers interested—especially those who love underdog tales. Though the show occasionally falls back on genre clichés, the world-building could use more development as some aspects of the magical system are still unclear.
All things considered, Wistoria: Wand and Sword is such a thrilling journey brimming with magic, action, and heart. If you love Mashle and Black Clover, then this is the next series you should watch next!!

Yami no Shihosha Judge have an interesting premise. Our main character is known as a clumsy and moron guy but it was just his disguise. In reality, he is one of the 'judge' from hell to punish those who have committed crime and get away from the law. His judgement was based on the book of the human skin, whereas it shows him who killed the victim and how this happened.
I wish this could be rebooted and made as a series instead of the movie. The movie didn't do this series justice, it makes the whole storyline a bit rushed; confusing and unappealing.
Overall, it
...
was a decent watch. Giving it 6/10.

How long have you been waiting for a good horror romance manga? Me: A LONG LONG time. There's plenty of horror romance out there, but only few are able to be well balanced between the genres. This is one of them.
This manga is so SO GOOD, its a well done story blend with dark twisted, folklore/myth, disturbing stuff, angst, mystery, horror & romance. The story begins when Yuri falls in love with Aono the first boy who's ever nice to her. Unfortunately 2 weeks dating, Aono got into an accident
...
and died. As she is about to kill herself, Aono appears & stops her from doing it. She then discovers that only she can see Aono ghost. But things seem to be getting weird as they spend more time together.
The story seems simple, and it starts out very normal but you'll realise how fcked up this series is. Every character is insane in their own way (ofc our FMC herself is such an obsessive freak. But you'll understand why). I'm so impressed on how I didn't know what to expect from this story, nor am I able to tell where the story is headed. Every chapter and volume presents more disturbing things, confusing and scarier. The plot thickens, but does it get dragged? Nope. I thought 9 volumes was too long, but as the story goes for now, I am asking for more.
Not to mention, Aono gets scarier (I almost have nightmares seeing his dark eyes lmao). The ghost here is like a map/puzzles that unfolds bit by bit, and the characters have to solve it with limited information they have. The more it reveals the more exciting it is. The folklore? The hidden dark past? Everything is so interesting. Also Yuri character is hard to like as story progress, cause either you're going to hate, feel frustrated or sympathetic, there's no in between, but she's just a teenager with a fcked up family. Her character makes sense & her character development is minimal for now, but she is changing for the better, and I'm here for it. Her and Aono deserve better not going to lie. I hope for a happy ending :')
Also, ignore those people who complain about the art style being bad and plain. You all missed out a well written story. I highly recommend 💜

BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL!! That's all I can describe in this movie! It's insane how I didn't know the existence of this movie nor do I hear people hype it out! The story about a group of 3 friends that called themselves as 'The Don Glees' are going together for adventure to search for a drone as their proof of their innocence after being blamed for burning their hometown's forest. But along the way, they are seeking a more incredible journey to a great place and treasure.
Their original plan was to take a beautiful picture of the firework through the drone, but misfortune happens. I LOVE how
...
this movie takes time to get us familiar with the characters, we get introduced with their secret places for the group, their plan for the summer festival and to their deepened friendship. Getting into this movie blindly with no expectation is probably the reason why it affected me so much. I have my doubts about the twist at the end, but it's far more beautiful than I expected. How the final part were executed is so well done, it makes me emotional 😭
This movie is not meant for a 'exciting' or being too 'adventurous' its more about character-driven type of story. Hence, you will find a lot of the characters interaction, them having deep conversation about their dream, and struggle. It does contain, bullying and academic pressure but just briefly. I personally love all the beautiful words here. Kinda reminds me of the old anime movie vibe!
The animation is so beautiful, such a visually pleasing, 10/10!! However, I wish the movie could be a bit longer, and they could include how their friendship started, how they interact in the past. It would have made a much bigger impact at the end. Nevertheless, I still love it so much. Highly recommended if you want a heartfelt, great friendship, and entertaining movie to watch! 9.5/10 🌟

Finish one of my favorite anime series. Surprisingly, I enjoy this season more than the first season. Of course season 1 have its own charms on attracting me to keep watching and instantly make it my favorite series back in 2021. However Season 2 makes the series to climbs up fast to be my favorite comedy of the year. After beautiful introduction on previous season, we get more of their hilarious interaction. What makes it more amazing is how this season make me appreciate the humor of KyuuShinu and making me carving for more. Plus, S2 comedy is far more better here in my opinion.
...
Its like they improved a lot on the gag.
I love how well it balances the chemistry of everyone with each other and constantly got a new scenario with each of them either to be dumb together, hunting vampires or just get into trouble. Whatever it is, it never fails to make you laugh, wholesome, heartwarming at the same time. This season also introduces a few new character that added more spices to the comedy.
Overall, I just love this series so much, and the animation is still as beautiful as the previous season. The color tones, non-stiff animation is what makes this series appealing, Highly recommended if you want to have a good laugh, and to heal your bad mood.

"You're fine just the way you are. You'll be able to do that because your're you, Mob" - Rengen Arataka.
We finally reached toward the end of this amazing series. I enjoyed this season so much, its have so much so unpack. We have 2 main arcs that are very crucial to the series. First Arc is the Divine Tree which will focuses more on Mob and Dimples relationship (they are so precioussss) and the second Arc is focused on Mob character itself.
Mob Psycho genuinely a great shows that combined superpower, comedy, and also great character development. Watching from season 1, until this final season you
...
will definitely witness each character's growth. I love how it ended well and give a satisfying closure. I could not ask more.
