Solo Leveling is probably the most hyped show of the season and I can understand why. The manhwa had quite a successful run and is popular, especially among those who are completely new to all of this and it's no surprise that it got an anime adaptation. It is also deemed by many as the best manhwa to ever have been created ( arguable ). So, we can all clearly see that the anime is already backed up pretty good. But is it actually good? For me, I'd say NO!
I haven't read past chapter 20 of the manhwa so I really can't say anything where ... the story might actually be headed but from what I've seen in those 3 episodes, it is getting adapted well ( at least for now ).

Story : 5/10

The story is nothing extraordinary, it's just your typical weak main character becomes the strongest of them all. The story itself is a major drawback for this series. It's repetitive and predictable. For a story to standout, it must not be predictable but rather it should be something which can keep the viewers engaged and make them wonder what are they actually in for! Nevertheless, it will still be interesting to see how the story unfolds in the upcoming episodes.

Characters : 5/10

Characters play an important role, regardless of what you're watching. A good protagonist and an amazing cast of side characters can immensely affect the enjoyability of that show. So far we have a brief intro of the characters. However, as the name of the anime suggests, I think the primary focus will be on our protagonist Sung Jin Woo. But we all would also be interested in watching how different characters contribute to the story.

Art : 8/10

The art style is good and similar to what the manhwa had offered. People who have read the manhwa probably won't be bothered too much. It feels refined and the characters don't look absolutely hideous. Again, it's not anything extraordinary but at least the characters look like who they're supposed to be.

Animation : 7/10

Animation is decent and similar to what most animes offer nowadays, nothing too flashy but not bad either.

Soundtrack : 5/10

Wasn't expecting much and didn't get much, its pretty average. The soundtracks in this anime are also not something which I'd listen later. Well, as far as they compliment their respective scenes, I don't think there would be any problem.

Overall I'd say it didn't offer anything unique or new and if it continues to be what I think it is ( Average ), then it will feel like a chore to watch it through to the end.

The story follows the protagonist Vash, a.k.a the 'Humanoid Typhoon' who has a bounty on his head and is being chased down almost everywhere he steps his foot in. Despite being a pacifist, he somehow manages to wreak havoc wherever he goes. Within the span of 22 chapters you'll get to know about him and his past and what drives him to do what he does!
The protagonist is cool and the side characters are also pretty decent but they don't have a story to back them up, well at least in this manga they don't.

Considering that this manga was published in 1995, the art ... isn't that bad, especially a few panels were absolutely cool! Some people may feel a bit uneased with the art style, if they are not used to reading such antique pieces.

For only 22 chapters, this manga offers a lot and is quite engaging as so many things are going on as you move forward with it. Even though it's fast and engaging, it is also the reason why the story has a few flaws in it. The story was rushed and it felt like a lot of elements which were to be revealed later, were revealed too early. The story definitely isn't that bad, it just needed to be executed in a different way.

If you're someone who's planning to read it and don't care much about where the story is headed, then I'd say it's definitely worth a shot!

Before I jump into my review , I'd like to say that this is my first ever review not only on MAL but this is the first time I'm writing a review for any TV show/Anime. I was actually excited for this and was literally waiting for the third episode to air so that I could write a review.
Now time for my review :)

So, Spy x Family , a rather interesting anime with such interesting characters and a beautiful soundtrack backed up by WIT Studio and Clover Works ... ( Thank God they did that ). So with all this you probably can expect something good coming out.
I've already read a few chapters of the manga and was really excited when I heard that it's about to get an adaptation (who wouldn't be after reading the manga XD).
I really had high hopes for this and I'm grateful that it turned out the way I was expecting it to be.
Spy x Family is beautifully adapted and was able to capture the essence of the manga.
The comedy was spot on, right up to my alley, I was not at all disappointed.
Every scene of this show feels like a treat to watch. The characters are great, the voice actors did a great job and were almost perfectly casted. Specially the voice actor of Anya ( Tanezaki, Atsumi ) did a great job and made Anya even cuter than she was before.
I'm really happy that it's getting the attention it deserves. Some people might say that it's hyped but I'd like to say that it deserves the hype!

I won't make my review too long and I'd like say that it's a really great show ( so far ) and you should definitely give it a watch. I don't know what's going to happen or if the upcoming episodes are going to be that great but Spy x Family already has a special place in my heart and this is definitely going to be one of the best anime's to come out in 2022. Be sure to watch it , do not listen to someone else and stop your plans of watching this anime, you deserve to watch this beautifully created show! ;)

Finally I'd like to say, everyone has different tastes and opinions regarding a particular show, so feel free to share your own opinions. I just don't want anyone spreading any hate regarding any show, just watch whatever you like and enjoy! :)
