A touching coming of age tale about two young artists who come to collaborate together on manga. A solid story with wonderful colors and animation. Faithful to the source material manga. Enjoyable and moving, especially for artists and fans of manga.
Look Back isn’t just all serious sentimentality. There’s a lot of humor that lands well. For example, one of tbe 4 koma manga strips the main character draws gets animated, adding to the impact of it.
The two main characters complement each other well. It’s not difficult to imagine their story being fleshed out into something longer, but I actually appreciate the length and conciseness

The best fantasy manga you're not (yet) reading. Tower Dungeon has incredible art, interesting characters, and a setting that's quite intriguing. Tsutomu Nihei is best known for his science fiction works Blame! and Knights of Sidonia, and Tower Dungeon is his first foray into fantasy. It's refreshing and exciting to see him dive into a new genre. From the environment to the character designs to the pacing, this is a master at work.

Burn the Witch is a rushed, near incomprehensible short manga series by the creator of Bleach. There’s virtually no time for character development or depth, but there’s clearly a larger world being hinted at by both the one shot and four chapters. With way more chapters, this could have been built up into something more interesting, but instead it’s forgettable. It’s unclear the intent here… is it source material for the anime or testing the waters? I actually think it would have been better off just as the one shot and not continued.
