Iinchou no Himegoto is an enjoyable manga if you're looking for something short and sweet.
Story: The very beginning of the manga is somewhat original, but once you get a few chapters in you start to see how it is just like many others out there. Everything becomes predictable, but it still has that heart warming quality to it which is something I enjoyed about it, and is why I went with a 7.
Art: The art in this manga isn't anything spectacular, but its not too horrible either. The thing that bothers me the most is that all the characters look the same. Their

hair and height being the only difference. Being an artist myself may have an influence on my rating of a 6 though.
Character: The main characters are both pretty average. Ayano is the sweet committee chairman and Kagura is the mafia's scary 10th generation with a sweet side not many get to see. The development between these two was very rushed, as one would expect from a manga this short, but their bond is very strong, and I'm a sucker for that kind of thing so I gave it an 8.
Enjoyment: I think the enjoyment level of this manga pretty much comes down to your personal preferences. One of the main things I liked about this story is that even when a conflict comes up, the characters don't spend 20 pages contemplating it. Everything seems to be resolved fairly quickly, mainly due to the length of the manga. If you want to read something that will leave you with a good feeling than this is the manga for you. I gave it a 7.
Overall: I gave Iinchou no Himegoto a 7 overall. It is a very sweet story which, in my opinion, would have been better if it were longer. It feels like a 50 chapter manga cut down into 10, which definitely shows.
