Okay so (a little spoiler i'd say) let's start that i cried A LOT. This is the first movie that really makes me cry like half ot the movie, but that is because if you have tought like the characters in certain moments of your life and can be identify yourself with the situations that they go trough, you will most likely at least feel very attached to them and their reactions to the events of the movie.
Now i'm not saiying that this is the perfect movie or something, but however it is really nice to see how it can actually make you think different

Before i read Oyasumi Punpun i heard that it was a very sad manga, but something different. Therefore i was constantly reading that it was something not made for everyone but i had to give it a chance. I then gave it a chance and said to myself "this can't be that sad".
And how wrong i was... Oyasumi Punpun makes an incredible balance between being nostalgic, sad and beautiful (or gorgeus). It's not just something that you would say "Hey something similar happened to me once!", is something that if you feel familiar with any of the situations or the way that the characters think, be ...

I have watched this movie 2 times now and everytime i see it makes me feel pathetic and that my i'm going to die sad.
But besides that the story is pretty good. The art Holy Cow, "amazing" it's still a short word to describe how the background art is. And sure, it sacrifices a little of character designs and "solid" strokes to make it more complementary to the ambient, but it's still too good for a movie that lasts for more than 1 hour. It's a movie that you are going to appreciate, but it also a movie that will make you sad for various reason ...

I think the only bad thing about this is that you have to wait until you see another episode. That being fixed in December Sky makes it a Masterpiece to me. Still, i should give it the 10/10, but due to just one little thing that i had that didn¡t seem to be so insane as the others, i'll give it a well deserved 9.
The story is just insane, and how it brings the climax wich let me say are brutal/insane because of the way the story prepares you to expect something or not to expect anything and throws you this insane thing out of ... |
