Alright I'm doing this to add much needed context to this thing.

So the story itself is actually a very good and heartwarming one. At its core it is a girl who has been devoid of almost any emotional connection finally experiencing what it is and learning to love again. It is a very wholesome and feel good story. The protagonist is someone very accepting and clearly what this girl needs in his life and the affect she is having on him is improving him like he is improving her. It is a very good and healthy realtionship that is heartwarming to read.

Now... for the clickbait ... in the title...

This series pisses me off and from the premise itself pissed me off. As I read on I found reason to not be pissed off as evidenced from above. However I have to dock points for how her past is portrayed and also a certain character in that past. We find out pretty early on who her first love was and how that relationship turned out. If that was it I could go on with no issues. However, the way that first person was portrayed is something I cannot help but disagree with and the heroine's reaction to that in the most stupid manner is something I also cannot dissociate with. I have a lot to say about it but its not appropriate for a review but tl;dr that first love seems to espouse the values of the manga itself and being seen as her teacher and thus her guide in life its saying those are the rules to live by in love and its just so wrong unless you don't think about it too much. It is such a dissonant value that I can't reconcile with it. Another review touched on this but I agree it really did feel he was grooming her and also its a visual detail that is easy to ignore but based on the uniform she was wearing in the flashbacks I can safely she was in middle school during this time and I hope I don't need to explain why that's bad. Sex in relationships (especially previous relationships) is something that isn't brought up in manga very often and is something I respect it for attempting to but making the girl so naive as to have been seemingly groomed and misinterpret what that man said or think that the way to make people happy is to have yourself walked all over by people you don't care about and make THAT so the reason she has had so many lovers is something that I just cannot reconcile. The writer is simply not competent enough to discuss that subject with any nuance and brings up her past too often (in my opinon) to let me focus on the story of a girl who just wants to learn to love again. I actually only got into this series so I could understand the backstory of this as the title made me want to not actually see what happens to the girl but what happened before the series and I can safely say I hate everything about it. Because my view of what has happened before and how that influences the story I am too pissed off to enjoy this for what it is. It ruins MY enjoyment but I know that enough people can overlook these issues and even those parts of the story to enjoy the rest of it.
