The setup is quite unusual: a vampire working in a bathhouse has sworn to protect a young 15-year-old boy, whose family runs the bathhouse, from harm.
He plans on waiting for the boy to reach 18 before consuming his pure blood.
But the young boy, who just started high-school has met a cute classmate and asks the vampire for advice.
Will the vampire be to protect the virginity of his prey while giving him good advice to follow his heart.

Art is great, story is funny and well-paced.

Characters are believable and well rounded.
Some yaoi vibes.

Great read so far.

At first , it's just a generic manga, new transfer girl, a bad girl from Kansai at that, wreaks havoc in a normal high school and is suspected to bully the so-nice class president. Super generic but very sharp and fast-paced.

Story
Then you get the twist. Just like SpyXfamily or Hinamatsuri, Furyou Taimashi Reina uses your knowledge of manga stereotypes to subvert them in a hilarious way.
As an exorcist, Reina meets different yokai, ghosts and Japanese urban legends but it's always in a bizarre way. As I mentioned, the pace never calms down, it never drags but jumps from an arc to another.

Really, what's not to love in this one episode ?

Trigger, the masterminds behind Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, are at it again and they didn't disappoint. And as my rating shows, this show has no weakness.

-Unique chara-design that is also adorable and engaging. Pixar-level stuff, dare I say.

-Character developpment for everybody

-Epic fight scenes with speed, showmanship and suspense

-Fun all around. I'm not a fan of shojô, harem or college-girls anime but what can I say ? It gets the job done. I had fun and I want more.
