I stumbled upon this series by chance. I felt compelled to write a review after seeing the pretty bad score it has on MAL.

Story: I personally haven't seen this kind of story yet. Childhood friends from the countryside living in the big city and getting used to this new life. It was adorable to see the characters notice their "strange" countryside behaviour and trying to correct themselves (even if it was not needed at all). The romance is the primary driver of the story, but it seems more like an undertone of the series with a satisfying conclusion.

Characters: The main characters are from the countryside ... trying to fit into the newfound city life and experiencing many "firsts" together. The other 2 main characters are friends of the country bumpkins and make up the friend group of 4 people.

Art: It is absolutely adorable and totally fitting for this kind of story!

To be honest, I don't get the low score for this manga. Yes, it is not something challenging storywise and it doesn't do anything groundbreaking, but the story gives you a good feeling about the world and that's ultimately something hard to achieve in our current world. With only 8 chapters - even though each chapter has more than double the amount of pages of usual manga - I would absolutely recommend reading it. It's a very light reading experience and leaves one with a good feeling. I would love to see a continuation of the story, to be honest.

So, here we are... I will make this short as there are currently only 7-8 translated chapters: The art is really bad (no balance whatsoever), the characters are all over the place so much so that you can't really get a reading on any character, the story itself is pretty interesting - i.e., the concept. The whole revenge plot is based on one major happening: the childhood friend being targeted. It's simple and straightforward as a breaking point. I will continue reading this. Can I recommend it to anybody? I don't know yet... The negative arguments clearly outweigh the positive ones, but I want to ... know how the story continues.

Lately I've come into contact with many Shoujo manga and anime - and I love them. The stories are well thought out and they give off a strong slice of life vibe - just that emotions are very important and the main point of the stories. I stumbled upon this manga by pure chance (it was an ad on Instagram...) and just read all available translations I could find (at this point: sadly only 6 chapters).

I usually don't really write reviews, but this unique story deserves one. If you want to experience the interesting confusion with the question "Is this BL or is this Shoujo?" ... then give this manga definitely a try. The characters are comfy and the MC is especially interesting with the whole gender-swap business and whatnot.

Confused teenagers hitting puberty hard, who hasn't been there? Throw gender-swap and gender identity crisis into the mix with a sprinkle of emotions and you get this. I will definitely continue reading this manga and may also purchase the Japanese volumes.

So, I've seen the advertisement for this manga on MAL by chance - as many manga to be bought are advertised here randomly. I read the first chapter, which felt a bit rushed, but what would you expect: it needs to set up the premise of the whole series and what to expect of it. What should I say? I spent the last 7 hours to read all 7 volumes and now I feel kind of empty.

Let me start by saying: yes, the setting is kind of a cliche. The MC is by no means anything special, which is established very often early on but ... somehow has two childhood friends who are world-class: one being a gal character the other one being a popular idol. Just like the synopsis says - they had become distant with time, like it happens so often in the real world as well. Life, right?

But with every chapter progressing the story further along, I grew to like all the characters involved in this story. It grows from a cliche setting to something a bit more unique only to be found in this manga - as far as my knowledge goes (but I am by no means a love polygon expert).

Let's talk about the characters, shall we? I've shortly glanced at some reviews for this manga before choosing to write my own and there is one that has a scathing outlook on the characters - especially the main trio. After reading that review I just knew, that this person has not finished the manga at all - and this assumption was correct - as I can not disagree more strongly with that reviewer's opinion. The main cast - I am including the main trio and their friends in this - all have different personalities and strong/weak sides. One gets an in-depth look even at the side-characters seeing a side to them that one didn't expect to see. And the main trio? Let me tell you, I was surprised by most of the stuff they did/chose to do.

What more to say about this manga? The story is awesome, the characters are well-written and interesting, the art style is doing the story just. The ending... oooh the ending. I loved and hated the ending. It showed the growth of the whole main cast but I was really sad to see it end. I am just like many of us: if we love a story and the ending is awesome, we still seek for more - just another epilogue or side story to see our beloved characters once more. This was the case here as the ending felt just as rushed as the beginning: but not in a bad way.

Give this manga a chance!

As many have said before, even though it sounds like a joke: I am also reading it for the story. Mostly because of the character dynamics. Even with some minor hiccups in the story's pacing here and there - it is still very enjoyable. For an Ecchi, Harem, RomCom manga, this is a very well done piece!

My only negative point would be the over the top fanservice (there is just soooo much in there), but it just fits for this particular story. I will continue reading this. But if you don't really like Ecchi (why are you even here?) then this wouldn't be enjoyable for ... you.
