I may sound annoying by saying this, but whilst I was watching this anime, I couldn't help but compare Asta to Naruto. They both had a really big goal that many made fun of them for, they never gave up even when they were looked down on for being different.
Story:
I found the arcs too short if I were to be honest but they were well-written. Though, there were some good plot twists. There are 17 filler episodes which is decent and low since Black Clover is a shounen anime.
Art:
At the start of the anime, the art wasn't very impressive. I was expecting more since it
...
was a new gen anime. Nevertheless I still carried on. For me, I don't find the art very important. I'm more mainly focused on the plot. However, later on in the anime, the art gradually becomes more decent and worth praising.
Sound:
The openings - they are amazing, they bring life to my ears. They hold the best openings in my opinion. They are high-quality too and well-animated. Background Music is pretty okay.
Character:
The characters all have their own problems they face and show great development along with Asta. I'm glad that the anime showed the spotlight on them each at each points of the show. Yami is one of the great characters I respect.
Enjoyment:
I did enjoy this. The fight scenes were full of hype. The fight scenes was usually when someone managed to unlock another great power which was good. There was a lot of comedy in it and it made me smile at times.
