Ushio to Tora is a new shounen anime based off a 90s manga, so if you really enjoyed the classic Yu Yu Hakusho and need something to fill the void then check out Ushio to Tora for more supernatural adventures! Both anime are full of great comedy and awesome action involving an average teenage boy gaining supernatural powers and taking on demons and youkai! While there are similarities, there are also many differences so neither are a rehash of another and will be a fresh 90s experience with quality animation, memorable characters and old school music. If you enjoyed the vibe and themes of Yu Yu Hakusho, then Ushio to Tora is definitely worth checking out.

Gantz and Deadman Wonderland are both extremely violent manga with plenty of gore. The main character in each is a teenager forced into a life or death situation. Both have a large cast of characters with different abilities and fighting styles which keeps the action fresh and interesting.

Terra Formars and Gantz are Seinen action manga. They both have Sci-Fi elements and involve humans fighting monsters/aliens they know little about using sci-fi weapons and powers given to them. The characters in both are never safe as many are frequently injured/killed when fighting because the enemy becomes stronger each time. If you enjoyed one of them and are looking for another manga which is just as explicit, gory and violent then I'd definitely recommend that you read the other!

Both Vampire Knight and Diabolik Lovers are shoujo vampire anime with good looking guys and a female protagonist who is not the most interesting of characters. There are differences in plot but I'm sure both will appeal to female anime fans who enjoy supernatural anime.

Both are supernatural fantasy anime with some comedy. Both anime have bishounens surrounding the lead character. However, Makai Ouji's protagonist is a male while Kamigami no Asobi's is a female.

Like Amnesia, Diabolik Lovers is also a shoujo anime and an adaptation of an otome game. Both anime have a quiet female lead with little personality and a variety of male bishounen characters of various personality types too. Infact, both have six main male characters each. If you like reverse harems then you'll probably like this anime! I think that fans of Diabolik Lovers are almost guaranteed to enjoy Amnesia and vice versa.
