I like to think that Project A-ko is the Anime that kicked it all off! It was the first animation I had ever seen and I immediately became a fan after. I was very young when I watched it on the Sci-Fi Channel and thought it was an incredible watch for its time. The strange thing about Project A-ko is that of the story in which is probably a dreadful and weird experience for an audience. Nevertheless, it doesn't take away from the outstanding work displayed. Probably the most anticipated Anime TV series to date. I spotted it on Netflix and gave it a try despite the cover having not all to be so appealing. Once I got passed the first episode, I was undoubtedly hooked! I think what makes this so interesting to watch is how clever the game rules are applied and how the so called protagonist has to work around how the game is being manipulated.

I watched this when I was a teenager. I loved it then, but now I can see why it didn't continue as far as making more episodes. However, the characters are great with a cool story. Perhaps this story is more a love attraction between a cyborg and a human surrounded in a world that is not what it use to be.
Now I am looking forward to the movie that is coming out February 14th. With James Cameron producing and Robert Rodriguez directing, the movie can't go wrong. It's destined to change cinema forever. If you haven't read the graphic novel on BattleAngel Alita, it's ... |
