End up reading this because of a YouTube video.

Read right through, even if I question many choices or logic of the author.

The artwork was good, no complaints about that. The story started strong, but then it started to become confusing and the characters' motivations didn't always make sense. There were a lot of contradictions, but it was clear that the characters were doing things because they wanted to.

It still kept me entertained. I read it right through as I mentioned before. Perhaps that's why it was easy to finish. If I had stopped, I'm not certain I would have finished it as quickly, ... even though the story was already completed.

I won't say it was the best, but I believe and always say that anything that keeps you entertained or makes you read right through to the end is a good story.

I gave it a 7 because it was ok and I managed to finish it pretty quick.

It's Rare for me to write a review, unless i was completely disappointed in something;

Overall the movie wasn't impressive. The animation was great, can't complain about that. But what else to say? The story is completely a mess. The goal is met, but there isn't really any build up that makes sense. After 30 mins I started watching how long till the movie ends. It was boring.

No spoilers, but you have the ML who is pretty much a push-over and can't express his real feelings. Then you have the FL that wants to find her mom. That isn't much of an issue. But then ... they kept introducing characters that have nothing to do with the story, they don't even really provide useful support for the ML or FL.

MC dads are just there for a purpose or a message. but i don't understand the message they are trying to say since they kept appearing for a short while then disappearing without doing anything to help the story progress. This happens very obviously with the ML, it was like you were expecting more.

Let's talk about the ending without giving out any major spoilers about the story.......... whatever you expect with all this build up....... don't expect any. Heck when the ML accomplished the FL goal it was almost like the MC became strangers. The ML lead drops the biggest dry " I have to go home"!!!! No emotion, no nothing. It was like all that they went through had no meaning. I must also say the ML didn't once show interest in going home to fix his own problem except at a certain old couple.

I won't recommend this to anyone who wants to watch this for a good story. IF the animation is what you want then no comment, it's good.

Nice art and characters. Though the character i would give it a 3 not for its quality but mainly the design wasn't that impressive.

Looks can be deceiving but a alright is all i can say for this adaptation. I Wont say the manga or the LN is perfect but this show is at best midiocre.
They failed to represent the character as they should be, the story is rush but not a bad as mmmm *cough *cough " overlord "
Music mmmm cant say i remember anything to comment about it
Character design......... ok i get they are trying to give it the classic shoujo feel but no it doesnt work.
Enjoyment mmmm i will be honest with this, i didnt watch it all, yea did watch a good 8 skipping some ... in the middle and watching the ending ( not like im missing antything since i know the story from both manga and LN ). Maybe i ve been influence by know a bit of the story which didnt motivate me, maybe i just got bored of it. BUt whatever the reason it watsnt enjayable.

Now i dont speak for everyone, im sure some or many would enjoy it, but not me ; I had expectation knowing i didnt really like the art from the trailer, i should have following my intuition and not watch this.

Just a headsup i will be only ranting and not talking much a bout the story but my overall opinion of the series.

Good Season and pretty nice to see the animation adaptation of the this story come to light. Though the animation its self felt a bit lower than the previous seasons it still good to see they conclude Part 2 of this story.

Overall its pretty solid for a show you light not know by reading the manga or the novel. If this was the case I would give this a 8 or barely a 9. But as a big fan of the ... Novel itself, it hard for me to judge it any less than my expectation. But honestly i think this will on apply to those that read the book or the manga but mainly those that read the book.

Ive started this story read first the WN and envitually started reading the LN. Very rear but base from what i read so far from the Wb, it is much more detailed than the LN, while the LN stick to the point. Kinda like comparing anime and manga when it come to story telling.

Overall hope to see more of this in the future. Anime should now entering part 3 of the novel, which covers Main or now Rozemain life as a Nobel and archduke daughter. The story from that in my opinion is more fun

(Before i write my review Im going to try my best to not type any spoiler but if i do i will warn you.)

The anime Cross ange is a straight mecha style anime. at first i thought is was just one of those Fan services anime with a lot of girls ( cant really blame me on that if you seen the OP video of the anime). But it turn out there was more to it than meets the eye and its reason.

The anime is one of those few that goes really intense on certain subject and one of the biggest one you will ... not immidiatly is racism. There are two races, the human and the Norma..... You might as well called them "Normal " because that what it really come lose. anymore would just be spoilers.

~~~Story~~~~

The story was really enjoyable, not something too original but the way they tackle it was good to me. It had a very strong starting and fallow through but the ending might have been soft and i guess i was expecting a little more to the ending. But it doesnt live you dissatify with it just that for my preference i would have rather it otherwise but for many other they will be very happy of how it ended. To put it simply it get an actual ending.
There are some cliche moment but sometime they make jokes about it but doesnt hide the fact that others are very obvious. Some of you that watch alot of anime might notice a few scene that might have been taken from other anime. Of course the anime itself has its fair share of fan services. you will notice it during the OP Vid and....... well after episode 1 you will see alot of these and i meant it.
Whiles all those i mentioned above is emplimented, the story still does very well to captivate you to desire to know more about the story adn to watch it right through.
To me there was no funny moment in the anime, fan services were ok but nothing for me to laugh. You might get vey upset or annoyed though but for a good reason.



~~Chracters~~~

The characters were all enjoyable and lovable. I wont lie, their might be some that you wish to see dead or suffer but there are alse those that you will learn to care for envualtualy.
Ange gets alot of story developement, she is a strong minded caring person who you might as well say was very spoiled at first but eventually grows to be a better person.


~~Art~~

The art was very nice and the mixture of 3D CGI in to the anime was a good mix. Pretty much all the mecha were all 3d models. and I was very impress on how well it work with the anime. You will not be dissapointed. But there are time when you will notice some characters were also made in 3d which didnt always work but not many notice unless you pay attention to the animation. The thing is that 3d work very well with hard surface objects like vehicles building etc, but things that has alot of movements our eye will perceive as strange.
The color palette use in the anime might be in my opinion to bright but doesnt take away the dark feel to the anime.

~~Sound~~

I found myself self enjoying alot of the music scores of the anime, especially the one that you first hear in the episode 1 after a few second and the faster versions. There is nothign to complain about any of the soundtrack. If i had to put it in this way, there are some that i will gladly listen on my ipod but not all.


~~Overall~~

I really did enjoy this anime and i really mean it. ive been watch anime for logn time so i develope a habit of not liking to wait for anime every week for it to be release and would rather wait till it was done. Well this one got me good and i really did wait every weel for it wanting more as the story progress.

I would recommend this anime to any that love mecha fighting, survival and stupid human

i have nothing much to say about this anime. People give it alot of bad reviews, and i can see why for many reason. but those reason a pretty much my own opinion which i not really going to wast my time sharing.

I personally think the series was very good. yes i read some of the book so there are things that make more sense in the book than the anime. Sometime can be confusing to some, some episode may be though of " whats the point of showing me that" and many other things didnt make sense.

For all those negative reviews I've ... seen and read, they are not wrong. but thats because they were like judging everything the the series. the last time i check if you judge every damn details in something then i doubt any movie series of any genre would be good cause there is always something bad about them.

Anyways, in the end. watch the series and judge it for you self. it all a matter of ones opinion in the end. i wont recommend it to those who need to have everything explained to them. But for those who play games, who watch "dot hack (.Hack)" or for those who like survival adventures, give it a try and judge it for yourself.

(Everything after this is just the reason i give it 10)

I gived it a 10 only because its been a while that an anime made me want to watch it and finish. ive seen many good anime. but majority of them is always a repeats. what made sword art different, well yes it kinda of a repeat in a different aspect but its not something thats has not been done. I mean think of the matrix, .Hack or ghost in the shell ( not fully the same but the ideas are still there).
In the end it was the adventure adventure, the felling of what would you do if something had to happen to you. And finally it relates to many of us MMORPG player, Many of us (World of Warcraft, Eve online, etc....)

And finally the main reason which might be only me. It absorbed me into the main story ( not the side story since they were not really complete in the end, since many were lost in there purpose) which usualyl happens very rarely. Sometime i tend to drop many who started good or take a few years to finish some of them.

OVERALL
Watch it and judge it yourself. Don't let some guys who comment bad on something to tell you whats good and what is bad. We are all different individual, our opinion are different no matter what how similar someone can be to you. You might like what you see. and if every you want to understand what really going on, then read the novel, this will differently fill in the gaps that are missing. But for those who don't like reading the anime concludes the story very well in my opinion.

Ok, I will just get straight to to the point. What pretty much the guy that got the most highest vot said would be true. I would like to say that I am reading light novel so I kinda can't help but to compare.

But anyway the anime was enjoyable, very very rush. I mean the episode1 to 3, who is suppose to be Joseph act was super rush. The light novel took 3 books to get to josep death, but the point is he got kill though not in the way but anyway that the anime and I know they had limited amount of ... episodes. Anyway majority of the scenes didn't make much sense. I mean the best example would be site stealing the plane, I mean shit man, if this is the level of security in a air base, military must be really crap. .....

Majority of the stuff doesn't actually happened like that from what I've read from the book, and it is the pop who showed sito world to only Harietta, Tiffania, and Louis. Also when Louis tried to send him home she didn't send him to his home but 6000 years In the past during the era of the founder. Also Julio becomes an enemie, the pop wants to take over the elfe lands. Louis forgets her memories of sito ( read novel for the reason), sito sward doesn't get broken by the dragon ( from what I seen , the dragon was not part of the story but again not all volumes are translate) sito news ward is a katana. Harieta is a real bitch after showing her true color to use sito as a tool of war. Sito do get married to louis in volume 18 but by then the anime would have had another season. Tabith does become queen but some shit happens and escap her kingdom and was replac with Joseph daughter (yes he have a daughter) and planning for world domination. A new void user appeared.

Anyway read the novel a lot more shit happens. Only season 1 & 2 of the anime stay true to th story


Anyway, the anime compared to the light novel would be like a 2 or 3. But by itself, I guess a 7 mayb lower but it still pretty much got to the point of the story so it's was pretty enjoyable.

As a super recommendation, read the light novel. It takes time to come out but those guys at bakatsuki still do a great job. The story have a lot more interesting stuff going on thant what all zero no tsukaima anime series showed in all season. It will also make more sense.

But I glade they finish the show, so guys I'm out . Watch this show with out comparing it with the novel, it. Was still a awesome show just to rush
