For most of us, we probably remember watching the anime and falling in love with the characters. Occasionally we might go back and watch it again for the nostalgia of it, to relive those happy days with Taiga and Ryuuji. And you might have seen that there's a manga adaptation-- an odd thing; the manga AFTER the anime-- and thought that you'd already seen it, so you don't need to read the manga.
READ THE MANGA.
If you enjoyed the anime, I can promise you that you will love this manga. Between the extended storytelling of Takemiya Yuyuko and the masterful artwork of Zekkyou-sensei, this series is
...
absolutely worth every moment to read through. In many ways, this manga feels like the true "final form" of this story, as it adapts so well to the page, with intense and loving detail that has made every volume worth the wait to its release.
The complete story has not yet finished, with each volume taking about a year to release, but it's been a long and wonderful journey. So, to everyone who is waiting on this, I beg that you at least go read the story in its manga form, and if you can absolutely going out and getting the tankobons. I cannot recommend this series enough, as a fan of the story, the art, and manga in general.
