This will be the second time I'm writing a review on Black Clover since episode 138 and me singing its (majorly) unsung praises, brace yourselves.
I don't recall watching a show that literally went from 0 to 100 over time and I understand people dropping the show very early on since the first quarter or so ranges from being hot garbage to mid junk food.
Yeah, Asta does scream a lot in the beginning, that's the most common remark associated with the show here and it's the key factor in turning people away from the anime but there's also a time where he stops and gradually shifts
...
into a more likeable, rational character and that's, among other things, the stepping stone for quality increase here.
Poor animation, unimpressive, unfulfilling villains, mid characterization and a predictable storyline are what I'd say to be the biggest things that plagued BC early on and brought such a demise upon it that some people find it to be unwatchable, and rightly so. I won't be mentioning specific timelines as to not spoil or indicate that something of such caliber is coming but bigger, more interesting things start to envelop while not clouding the primary objective here in the first place and that's where Pierrot starts going full meat no bone in on the series. The current state of Black Clover is not anything revolutionary but at best it's some good shounen food with bits that can really get to you.
Unprecedented, astonishing run overall, it's been a real good one.

What a brilliant send-off the 24th episode of Jujutsu Kaisen was, so great.
Having watched the series since it started airing I was ecstatic, pogging, glued to my screen throughout pretty much the high majority of the season.
This show restores a great deal of the charm that brought me into the medium since I was a kid and at times I'd say that's how I felt.
It becomes immediately ingrained in your head that Jujutsu Kaisen does not venture out of the ordinary shounen anime standards you're used to seeing but instead it enhances what it already has tremendously and a lot it is a testament to
...
the fact that shounen anime in present time can be just as great or even better than some of its predecessors.
If you're reading this and episode 19 of Demon Slayer hit different for you too then you're in luck because that's basically this anime but stretched into an entire season, with a beautiful finisher to complete it.
Huge props to MAPPA for making the show so fucking jacked while also having worked on Attack on Titan simultaneously, to say impressive would be an understatement. Stay tuned for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and watch this if you already haven't

I binged the whole thing in one sitting, that's how much I love it.
Chihayafuru is an absolute delight and given that I haven't watched slice of life shows in a long time it has definitely been a pleasurable and memorable experience plus a reminder to myself as to why I like anime as a medium so much and why slice of life is one of the best anime genres there is.
The story is nothing grand per se but the execution is amazing with the realisticness to match especially considering that the central setting here is high school, and most works based around school just tend
...
to be rather typical really. The game itself is rather interesting and contributes heavily to the viewer's experience, recurring interest and the show's charm and evident passion.
Watching the characters develop is thrilling above all, there are layers behind their words, actions, achievements, they're well written, ever interesting to explore and not inflated to seem bigger than they are personality or ability-wise and that's a big catch in anime for me, the fact that you will come to want to root, be excited for them on their every step and feel for them when they reach the finish line.
Chihayafuru is full of life, earnest and consistently well directed. The framing of shots, lighting and music are always top notch and they elevate the series more than super high octane animation ever could, and Madhouse didn't miss when doing the animation for it either, the environment is pretty to look at and the characters are vigorous.
Overall it has been an outstanding and memorable series, now a favorite, and I will earnestly continue watching seasons 2, 3 and eventually pick up the manga because I doubt that my appreciation and liking towards it will halt at some point, it could only grow from here.

I rate this show with an 8 because, given the material we've witnessed so far, I feel like it's the most fair and appropriate grade at this point and I have high expectations going forward.
Watching Fugou:Keiji Balance:Unlimited basically feels like a deal negotiation going smoothly, it progressively struggles for an ideal result which all present parties would benefit from with little to no openings for things to go sideways. The 1st episode really did its part in sparking interest that'll keep me going and also provided a suitable amount of comedy that efficiently carried over to other episodes and added more element to the show
...
overall.
It's action-packed, amusing, good at executing given material, elements and, last but not least, it's fun as hell.
I mean, having two MCs, followed by an amusing side cast, who are total opposites of one another team up, work together on cases in their own ways as they continue building trust and further developing their relationship? This could basically play out like *insert buddy cop movie title* here except make it anime, sign me up!
A thing that works really well here is how unpredictable the show is, leaving little room for ideas and theories to come your way. Having said all that, I recommend it with ease, whether this is your thing or not. I will await every new episode eagerly because I feel like it might get even better in the meantime!

I'm actually somewhat disappointed that there's not a single review of Fight Class 3/Gyeoggi 3 Ban considering it's a pretty decent piece of work, but then again it's not really known so I understand. However, I'm happy that I'm the first one who'll be submitting one.
It took me 2 days to read it, not to my expectations which was a surprise to me, so I'd guess that says something about how much I like it.
As far as the character and story portion of the manhwa goes, it's mostly what you'd expect out of a traditional shounen-esque work, even though during certain stages it wouldn't qualify
...
as much, but it's up there.
The plot sometimes feels like it's all over the place, especially during the middle half of the series, but that's just probably my inexperience as a manga reader barging in and making a point, so as such it might not count for much I'm afraid lol. It's mostly linear and expectable, guy had a bad thing happen to him when he was a kid, he requires resources and ability to overcome said thing, attain something of value or just become stronger, and yeah it's mainly centered on school life so it's pretty easy to guess the kind of characters you'll be seeing throughout the series. I appreciate that every Fight Class character has an appropriate body shape, female and male fighters both stand on equal ground, and everyone is given a room to grow after a certain event. Also, Maria is best girl. <3
The art is pretty much what takes the whole experience out of the park here. Panels are being drawn in a way that conveys intensity and emotion of a situation, character or landscape through better character and background detail (e.g. if a character is seen having their tender, carefree, fun moments they won't be drawn with as much detail compared to when they're in a fight or in an intense, dire situation where they can become all scary and intimidating looking in a second, so that's cool)
Considering the series is still an on-going one (the latest chapter is 76), I'm stoked to see how the plot and characters will develop from this point onward, and I will happily be keeping up with future chapters.
