You know I've watched a lot of anime, most are recycled plot, caricature characters and major wish-fulfillment stuff. Arifureta fit this bill near perfectly, a weakling becomes the strongest and goes on an adventure collecting harem members as he goes. To be honest I don't have a problem with that if an anime's done right even a terrible plot or a lack of plot can be good. Take One Punch Man S1 it was near episodic, had no end goal, but it was well animated and wildly entertaining making it good. Arifureta literally talked over plot points, portrayed the plot in a fairly bland
...
manner, and the cg fight scenes in most parts were lackluster.
The themes were probably the best part of the anime, the voice acting was fairly on point so it scores highly, nothing too memorable but it stands out as probably a better part of this anime.
Characters generally lacked depth, serving to emphasize how OP our main characters, or move the plot along. Well they weren't annoying or irritating to watch so it was okay.
I originally, was hoping for more from this anime but the glaring issues in this animation were obvious, likely due to the issues in production that happened. Still it rushed the plot at lightspeed covering 4 volumes in 13 episodes spending 5 episodes on 1 volume leaving 8 episodes for 3 volumes. There was a lot of skipped or cut content in my opinion, usually that isn't an issue as anime's gloss over it but a slideshow explanation format ranks rather low on how to do it.
Still there were some enjoyable parts of the anime the non-combat comedic bits were still entertaining. So it gets a solid 6

Honestly I don't know how I feel about this anime, the characters are good excluding Satou who is more or less a whimsical self-insert, There is no hint of an overarching plot throughout the series, its more or less episodic, with some minor hints at a major mystery that doesn't seem like it will get solved. Despite this we have adorable character designs, and the girls tend to have better than one-dimesional personalities as we usually see, at the very least they aren't cookie cutter. The sound and art are solid enough, there are no real issues and combat scenes are animated fully, no still-clash
...
or corner cutting making the overall quality of this anime better. The Voice acting is solid with no feeling of out of place. OP and ED are upbeat and pleasant.
Overall, I enjoyed this anime a fair amount, I don't expect much out of it, and it is good to pass the time. Also writing this sorted out what I thought so more power to me.
Bottom line:
There is no deep plot so far that has edged in throughout the episodes aired, some mentions but way too subtle. The entire Isekai genre has self-insert bland MCs this one is no exception. We have cute character designs, and decent world building, as for the harem building it isn't idiotic level where the girls lose IQ (except maybe Arisa) after falling in love actually I doubt we have reached harem state but that's debatable depending on whether having girl around means harem or if affection means harem member. My advice for this show is to watch this if you need to calm down, you have no tension in this anime at all excluding maybe first 10 minutes of the first episode, the character is so OP you just doubt that anything bad can happen.

I gave it a lot of thought wondering about why studios always have that one anime that is like 50 others before it and while the premise and some parts are different we have a production of a generic harem story per se. Answer it isn't for the long-time anime watchers but for new people breaking into anime from the start, well that's my opinion but onto the review.
The story setting is similar to 3 maybe 4 other animes or plots I've read in my time as a watcher, it's put together differently but this is a post-world, magic, monster-threat, weapons combat, school-life series. The
...
story is set as a failure team in danger of disbanding gets assigned a new instructor, disgraced former ace fighter Kanata Age. Kanata then proceeds to use unorthodox methods to fix each of the girls flaws that prevent them from being successful as a team despite their great potential. I won't say this story isn't unheard of or repetitive but we rarely get a teacher MC so it boosts it score a little.
The Art and animation is decent the CG goes well together but the monsters are generic and all CGed and it isn't nearly God-tier animation.
The voice acting is solid, the opening and ending have not complaints, I suppose the one thing that annoyed me was the battle music but it wasn't that annoying.
Characters, let's start off with the failure team E601 our underdogs, Misora, tsundere red-head with a noble goal later crush on Kanata which goes unnoticed, Lecty ultra shy dual swordswoman, and Rico god-tier narcissist and master sniper with a inferiority complex to her sister. We also have Kanata's previous team, Chloe miss kind-hearted, and Lloyd other guy who is in the background, 3rd is Yuri, Kanata's original protege and while angry with him harbors deep love to him. Finally we have our hero Kanata, known as "traitor" and "Chronos" is assigned as a teacher to E601 on Chloe's request. Kanata is probably the most fun of the series not because he is funny himself but how he trolls the other characters so well, and still fulfills his job as a teacher. To be honest I'm sure he keeps trolling Yuri too because no one is that dense, I hope. (honestly I never got the harem vibe because there is next to no romantic development between Kanata and the girls in any sense that I can see, well he does serve as a moral support but no eros or romantic stuff maybe Yuri or Misora but I'm not sure with how Kanata trolls them too)
Enjoyment well I enjoyed the series because of the trolling done by Kanata, but people will look at the series and see it as generic and it is but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy it. Well whatever. Combat scenes are good (some actual tactics involved like bare minimum), development of characters is okay, and the premise is decent.
Overall I give this a 6.5 but since we don't have 6.5 I rounded up, still if people are tired of repeated generic harem anime then the score is 4 and don't watch you will hate.

Ever see power rangers, imagine that with a gender bender premise on which instead of masked hero you get a loli-girl from a student
To be honest there are 3 big points of this anime that it does well the rest are about average.
1. the idea is simple kill the baddies, and it doesn't waste time trying to gather sympathy for the enemy like naruto or bleach or any other thing, the bad guys don't have SOB stories but instead are wacky, perverted monsters and end of the day they get sliced up by girls with weapons and we feel happy about it by
...
the end.
2. There are no serious issues in this anime, it doesn't talk about global warming, get too deeply psychological, or attack some societal flaw it just is about a guy with a god-tier obsession with twin tails trying to protect twin tails and the world but mostly twintails.
3. The fight scenes well it is debatable the animation drops off at some point but you know I think they spent most their budget on this so I do recommend watching up to Drag Guildy then it just flops and flounders.
Side good points include cause they are always pluses for the comedy and just mash up anime.
- Horny mad scientist
- Masochist, Exhibitionist Student President
- A Tsundere who beats other women and not the MC
- A Chuunibyou Mom
- Maid
- A loli-character wielding a flaming sword (most characters just get a sword)
The Sound is good, the plot could be equivalent to power rangers where it is just monster of the week, and there is fan service coming out by the buckets, it's a harem.
I think I hit most of the points but whatever, take it or leave it, to be honest I had no expectations going into this anime and I was surprised that it is solid and I enjoyed watching the antics of the enemies and the main character.

You know I've been watching a hella lot of anime, many kinds, many genre. To be honest the characters suck in this anime, but that isn't what makes or breaks a story. I mean if everything else was average then this anime would have no redeeming features, but it creates a setting, background intrigue and a lattice of interrelationships on multiple levels and does it fairly well to form a story not about Tatsuya and Miyuki, but about how a world of magic doesn't just make it about saving princesses or fighting a single bad organization with one side good the other evil. Rather there
...
is no good side only the lesser of two evils. Take the first villain of the story Blanche, their agenda was normal people fighting against elitism of magicians, which really turned out to be just a political play from another country, in the end elitism and national safety won against equality and foreign interference (I think that was a really indirect jab at America but I can't say).
Then the next one was about establishing how magic was used and opening a darker plot of Boosters (experimentation and torture of magicians to make killing weapons, kind of glazed over it a little) vs enjoyment and fun of magic (NSC). They also tossed in lineage and skill vs technological back up and planning.
Lastly we have the Theoretical Competition where it is just about freedom of information vs safety and finally how magic works in realistic combat (I don't think the fight scenes were that great though).
The art I liked the characters weren't over the top with spikey hair, or blue and green hair colors, as well as the magic animation wasn't overblown but executed nicely.
I did like the OP and ED it was nice and had no complaints.
Characters, well we have OP MC to infinity he can't die, he can kill easily and he doesn't care about anything except his sister or if people ask him to help. Miyuki was poorly done since they didn't really explain her near Yandere devotion to her brother. Then the rest were mildly done with little development but like I said they focused more on development of groups and relations like the 10 Familys, the Army, the country, and such. As for the supporting characters we have Tatsuya's group which consists of new students all trying to overcome their limitations as Weeds, each one has a unique skill which makes them useful but they never really take center stage, except in group fights or against other students, but they are never involved in the main story to a major role throughout.
Well that aside seeing a guy disintegrate other people is always fun and it was new, plus how they applied magic was unique as oppose to the annoying fire, water, wind, earth elements, it was more similar to Nanoha system of magic relying on tech assist. I enjoyed it because it moved the progression of perception of Tatsuya ,Weeds & Blooms, and the role of magicians in society and how they are working to overturn the soldier mentality and stuff.
Well that aside the anime is one of the better ones out there and I would watch another season if possible, well that's all I got.

Honestly what has the resident evil movie franchise become? We must ask ourselves was Retribution really what we all wanted, I didn't have as much killing as the other resident evil movies, it didn't have much of a plot except escape the base, and it was mostly a setup movie for the next one I mean even though I left satisfied just based on that last pan out to see a horde of mutated monsters attacking a fortress of the capitol building, put a smile on my face as I left the theater.
This particular release of CG resident evil follows one of our beloved
...
heroes Leon S. Kennedy, who well is plain awesome.
Story 8/10
This particular installment is a not one, not two, but three part plot, so it has depth, originality though is somewhat lacking in a way that you know what is gonna happen, but it is forgiven since Resident Evil was one of the major zombie franchises, and most zombie movies have the same plot.
Art 7/10
I'm not sure what how to grade art for CG, but it does work well for the adaptation, gives it the video game feel and I never felt wow fail, but what do I know so you can blame me later if you feel you were cheated cause of the bad info.
Sound 7/10
No OP, but the BGM was standard attack of the zombies music, and not bad. The VA was okay Leon sounded like Leon.
Characters 9/10
You get Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and a couple of other STARs forces, it is resident evil you get what you expect going in. If you don't know Leon is pretty much giant killer awesome so that is probably the best description I can give.
Enjoyment 8/10
After being letdown time and again by the live-action franchise I feel better about Resident Evil on a whole after watching this, if you are a fan I recommend it, or even new to the series go for it, not a waste of time, though not the best zombie movie out there, I recommend zombieland.
Overall 8/10
Pretty good.

Story:
It opens with some idiot leading the way and stop Hammertime. From the ceiling giant hammers. From there I had to watch. So it turns out that like many other animes it takes place in a school and in a ruins behind the school where a hidden power probably rests. The story itself like the name revolves around puzzles and solving them, for the first episode the action is pretty tame, but it still manages to catch my interest. (probably just me) The way things look it seems to be similar to a tower of druaga setting where main clears levels or something but it
...
is too early to say.
Art:
As expected of the modern age the art is pretty good and the character designs are somewhat interesting yet as always the main just stands out.
Sound:
The opening sounds great, and the voice acting appears to be good.
Characters:
Some of the characters are pretty cookiecutter childhood friend who tsukkomis the main's obsession with puzzles violently. The main is Kaito, a super genius whose goal is to solve puzzles just for the sake of solving them, plus some sort of past promise. You have thee student council president and chairman in kahootz and finally an idiot celebrity.
Enjoyment:
Cause I like puzzles and I can pause the video and solve them at my pace. It was interesting pace which had a decent closed story within itself
Overall it may depend on who likes it this will be updated by the sixth and final episode probably.

I believe matsuri captures the essence of what baka to test to shokanjuu, comedy is about: Summon wars, comedy and mild sex appeal. Also, please watch the first season or a lot of the story will go over your head.down grading its rank to a six or seven.
1. The story is rather old F class just trying to better it's crappy situation having only art boards as desks, but it soon turns interesting with blackmail, fear and Chinese cafes. The comedy sort of touched me and it is mainly the absurdity of it all that gets me rolling
2. The art is roughly the same
...
as the last it suits the story well enough, Having many cartoonesque re-imaginations in shokanjuu or summon beings.
3.Sound is okay the opening and ending give the same tone a festival kind of thing I'm not really great at explaining music.
4. I love the characters the FFF, ("heretics") and the idiot akihsa getting owned in multiple ways, my favorite character tsuchiya doing the ninja thing, and yuiji being super devious. There is no character development in the ova because it is an ova, but if you loved the characters from season 1 they all play some role in this.
5. Personally I got what I wanted from the ovas a summoned battle, comedy and well fun. I think people will enjoy it if they liked the first season.
6. Well that's it whatever tell me how I did.

Again still new to reviews so tell me how I did. You know all those mangas that beat around the bush taking 20 to 30 to 50+ chapters to get the main characters together, and afterwards they mains lose all their tension usually, and the it gets boring well this manga just hits it off right on the start screw the whole weeks wasted waiting for someone to man up and confess even if it is shorter at least my lifespan isn't wasted. The fact that Kazumi believes he is like a God makes it better, and that Tsubaki is easily startled and gets
...
messed with reverses the whole master servant role. It has action, it has comedy and from four chapters it has accomplished enough for me to write a review. I believe th future of shojo manga will be more to onset hook-ups then beat around the crappy bush.
So quick overview:
Have Extremely egotistical housekeeper bishonen
rich, naive spoiled bishojo

Alright, you got the standard thing where a guy ends up in a situation where he is surrounded by girls and even more girls, that in itself would be interesting, but to top it off you get mechas that are only piloted by women and one guy, you do have to feel sorry for him. Let's see the plot is inventive on how it combines mechas with the isolated guy in a girl mob situation, yet it also spends time on each and every one of the main characters respectively, some of which are rather overused in my opinion.
Anyway, even if you hate the idea
...
of a massive school with only one guy in it idea, they really don't waste time on that detail except for comedy. Mainly it is a combat anime with really cool fighting effects, there are cool mecha abilities, some of which seemed ripped off of other animes yet I'm not gonna comment.
In its own right it does a good job of telling the story even if it seems rushed, if you have time pick it up it is worth it if you're looking for a decent anime.
