Sotsugyousei (Manga) add
Sotsugyousei is the sequel to Doukyuusei by Asumiko Nakamura.

It starts of with a couple of short stories that set the mood for the manga. The two characters Sajou Rihito and Kusakabe Hikaru are facing a crossroads in their relationship, they're in their last year of highschool and are unsure of what's going to happen afterwards when the pair has to pursue their vastly different dreams, far away from eachother.

Mixed Feelings
The ova fails both in storytelling and characterization.

I liked how the first episode was set up, and how the ova gave us more background info on Isabel and Farlan, which was fine for the most part but it ended up cutting out a lot of the important scenes in favor of having more scenes with Levi in it. The ova also painted Erwin as a total asshole and made him seem like he wasn't all that interested in Levi (or in anyone really) when the literal main plot of no regrets is about his and Levi's relationship! Doukyuusei (Anime) add
The build up of the story is quite simple, but is done in a clever way. The plot is compelling and sweet, and it doesn't drag on for longer than it has to.

Doukyuusei is one of my personal faves, but it's not perfect depicting it's lgbtq+ themes. Yes, it's far better than many other anime's at it but it still fails to treat queer relationships as normal. The relationship between the two leads feel very stiff sometimes, and the development in their relationship is mostly physical (even at the end it doesn't feel like the characters really know each other, despite having dated for quite ...
