I'm attempting to make this review because the story had a pretty big effect on me. It's a while since I've read this but this doesn't mean I won't read it again, my enjoyment will be the same even for the second time.
- NO SPOILERS-
This was my first manhwa from this author and I'm glad it turned like that because it easily convinced me to read the rest of he works, her first work called Momentum (including several different stories) which I'm still currently reading. The first reason that made me want read Wolf In The House was simply the cover photo that caught
...
my attention immediately (the one with Minsuk and Bexan in human form with the leash on and the bone). It already gave a vintage vibe even from the cover, not to mention the pannels how nice and smooth were organised, first type seeing someone making the bubbles more square yet slightly rounded in the corners.
The unique story of a handsome werewolf (yet dummy af <3 ), looking like a husky dog, turning into a human form once the sun sets till the sunrise, made it so fun and entertaining, giving you an unstoppable thirst for what's going to happen next. Luckly me, I bumpet into this while it was airing and I knew if I'm going to start reading I won't be able to stop, so I've waited till it's finished airing, and DAMN it worth the wait!! I binged the entire story at once in one night! Another reason what made me love this so much is that the author used so many international (european) references and characters, not to mention that as a former professional ballet dancer, I felt like my heart will burst out of my chest when it was about Russia using also the ballet references.
LGBTQ stands out in this story, giving credits and respect to all sexualities, not only the BL aspest. MAD RESPECT!
★STORY - 10/10
I loved how both couples had a very smooth development and the connections in between them were so balanced, nothing too exagerated or focus mainly on only one pair. The pace was very nice and all the topics and moments were covered just well! I didn't feel any plot hole and it didn't leave me with questions after that. The story was indeed developing and got more complex towards the end. I can say that it had almost everything, a bit of drama and a bit (more) of comedy.
★ART - 10/10
The art style is what made me love this manhwa in the first place. After that, the author easily became my favorite manhwa artist. You just can't miss the vintage vibe and aesthetics. It one of those were you can enjoy your tea/coffee while reading it with some swing music in the background. The color palette was limited in a smart way to fit the art style and the vintage aspect of the story. I can't but just LOVE it! The author does the same with the colors in her first work (Momentum), even MORE limited than in Wolf In The House (as her 2nd work).
★CHARACTERS - 10/10
ALL the characters were so lovable and very different to each other! Each character had a strong development (covering especially the two couples). I can guarantee there's nothing missing about them as individuals. The author made sure that ALL of them gonna look HOT AF, especially Bexan and the seme from the other couple.
I hope you find this review helpful and enjoy the manhwa ! wooff~

I know it's too early to give an impression on this anime and I wanted to wait till the show is finished airing, however I really want to make this review and give people a proper idea towards this unique show, so hear me out.
I'm aware that this is not everyone's taste but before judging it after watching only the 1st episode and even dropping it, give a chance to have a proper look on it, because everything is explained in a very unique way (for exaple: ep 1 is all explained in ep 2 from a different view/perspective, which I find it very
...
unique and rare in anime in general) and then slowly the show gives hints and even clear answers by itself, but it also means that we should pay enough attention and make our brains on use. This is that kind of an anime that makes you understand even better after rewatching it, and for me honestly it worked just fine, especially that I've got so invested into the story. Indeed, the plot is very confusing at first and that's the purpuse of the anime but it's not that hard to understand it after all.
Personally I got SO interested since the first trailer came out and I became addicted to it (also because of the first 30 seconds of the op that appeared in the trailer). The trailer looked nothing like some other anime out there, and the visuals are so unique that makes you want to see more of it, of the weirdness.
'Weird' is normal nowadays, so I don't get why people would judge it so easily because of its weird concept, but isn't this what people want NOW?!
I find the entire dark concept of the mind manipulation, a refletion of our reality where the world is mean and want to control over our 'bodies' that affects us emotionally and every aspect of the outside view comes first from our mind.
STORY: 10/10
I've seen nothing like this before in anime and a topic about mind manipulation is something pretty much taboo that not many people are brave to expose and discuss, because it's perhaps a delicate subject that has no right and wrong answers (?) This is a reason why this anime caught my attention from the very beginning.
Indeed it's hella confusing at first, but now, looking closely, ep 1 is actually a full pack of answers that we didn't see at first. That's why it's WORTH rewatching the episodes before going into the next one!!
ART: (8.50) 9/10
I've never seen anything from Geno Studio before so I was a bit sceptical about it. Gladly, it prooved me wrong and indeed the art style is different but pretty much pleasing for the eye. However I can see some lack in the art style when it comes to animation. The initial art is a bit distorted in movement and different angles and makes the jaws look a bit predominant, not like I'd mind but I thought it's a fault/mistake from the creators. Although, this art style appeals very well to the dark concept of it, making everthing look disturbing (THAT'S WHY is rated +17 duuuh)
Sound: 10/10
If I could, I'd give 1000/10, I fell in love with the opening, NOT because ''ooh it's the Tokyo Ghoul's op singer'', NOT because ''ooh it's TK, then it must be good'', I JUST LOVE IT THE WAY IT IS! Yes, I love TK's song and I admire his voice, even though I'm not a huge fan, BUT I'm absolutely obsessed with this song and his range in it. I spammed all the videos on yt that has to do with this OP (lmao). Speaking of opening, the fact that Tsukasa is lip syncing the lyrincs of the song at the beginning is SO COOL & UNIQUE, have you ever seen such a thing in anime openings so far?! The ending song is also STUNNING just like the opening. An anime like this deserves 100% two badass songs like these.
Characters: 10/10
I can't express how much I like that these characters are so diverse and unique on their way. Everyone is struggling with sad backgrounds having a big need for love and respect between each other. It kinda gives a gay vibe to it(but has nothing to do with with gays, so don't worry homophobes, it's safe), because I totally support the strong bond between Tsukasa and Hiroki despite their 'pet-owner' connection/relationship. Shout out to Geno Studio for making Tsukasa SO HANDSOME!!!
Enjoyement: 10/10
I could give it more that 10, my hype for this anime started in summer 2019, so as expected, I'm enjoying it so far a lot. The fact that every episode makes you want to know how it will end up, the whole investment that gives, is incomparable. Its mystery is really on point, and combined with weird and disturbing visuals keeps me excited every week.
PLEASE SUPPORT THIS ANIME AND DON'T JUDGE IT AFTER WATCHING ONLY THE 1st EPISODE! This anime deserve recognition! I hope this little review was helpful, I heard that my hype towards this anime made other people to watch hahaha
ENJOY THE SHOW!

I came to watch this just because I knew the band for a while and not long ago I heard they got actually an anime so I really needed to check it out, without having any expectations.
I MUST SAY that this short serie should NOT be hated because this is a fan series for UraShimaSakataSen STANS (the utaite band) so please NO HATE towards this anime in case you come just to watch a seasonal serie without any idea what the background of the band is about!
I can't express how much joy these guys brings me and I'm proud to say now I officially stan
...
this band because I totally fell in love after seeing them for the first time in Peacock Epoch, not to mention ALL their voices KILLS ME when they sing and talk normaly.
Now watching this, I expected to finally find and pick a favorite but it became even harder lol I CAN'T EVEN PICK A FAVORITE, all of them are different in some way but ALL are cute, adorable and sexy with cute, adorable and sexy voices (EQUALLY) ... like I said, they bring joy and smile on my face
STORY: 7 (good)
Honestly, the story line was kinda made in a silly way but for them it woked well for their silliness ahaha They managed the plot to work for them in a way to be fun... and yes I laughed at every episode
ART: 8 (very good)
They were cute, sexy and hot before the anime, NOW THEY ARE EVEN MORE CUTTER. That chibi design suits their personalities and it's just adorable!! I wanna squiiiizzzz them! At the beginning I wished their character desing looked just like the one in the opening but I got used to it while watching and became more reasonable for the story-telling
SOUND: 9 (great)
Initially I came to watch this just to get to know them better and listen to their voices because I'm a sucker for good (seiyuus) voices and I want to learn and distinguish them by their voices. This is actually easy because Senra has the most 'different'/unique voice when he talks so it's eaaasy to recognise him by his voice. Sakata would be the second one I could easily recognise, it's something about his voice that's unique.
I adore the opening, it's so fun to watch and listen to it! I DIDN'T SKIP AT ALL whatsoever! We were more like watching each episode for the opening lol ~ very catchy <3
CHARACTER: 9 (great)
THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY GREAT! I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM!! I can't give 10 because I just got into them this week...but FOR SURE I know I LOVE them already
Urata - He caught my attention first because of his duo with Sakata in Dark Side Fantasy (i'm obsessed with that song) and I 100000% fell in love with his voice and looks in just a second. I can see that he got the most fans if I'm not mistaking, even tho they seem to be equally appreciated which makes me SO HAPPY!!! Something about his makes me like him the most, I don't even know what exactly, but I love his unique visuals (maybe because of his hair). Watching the anime I realised he has a great personality, having like a great leader spirit, somehow the most mature out of all of them.
Sakata - He....He...kills me whenever he speaks or sings, just like Urata. He is the silliest and funniest member, facts that makes me appreciate him even more, because he brings life in the group haha big charistma
Senra - He is sexy and hot, just like his voice, a real HOT BOMB all packed... I love his hair <3 did I notice it well? Is he the tallest from the group. He makes me question sometimes if he is actually my favorite, but then I think at the other ones and come back to the same conclution ''Ooh I have to think once again who'd be my favorite''
Shima - why is he soooooooo funny and adorable? I did't pay much attention to him but in this serie made me realise he would be somehow I'd love to hand out, he could be the best companion!!
ENJOYMENT- 9 (great)
ABSOLUTELY!! I watched the entire serie in just one hour probably lol and just found out it just finished airing so I came right on time HAHA I could totally tell I enjoyed this if I laughed at every episode with a big smile on my face while watching, it was just so WHOLESOME!!!
OVERALL: 9 (great)
in case you got this far reading this, thanks for your attention :D ENJOY THE SERIE!

I MUST SAY I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS ANIME FROM ALL THE ASPECTS! IT CHANGED MY LIFE STYLE!
At the time when I first saw the first trailer of this anime back in November 2018, I was immediately engaged by the stunning real-life visuals combined with the anime art, which made me wonder if the whole show is going to look like that. It looked so unique from that point of view but at the same time made me a bit sceptical about it, not gonna lie (even tho I wished to be like that for some reason). I gladly said ''Ooh so this is a
...
'MUST WATCH' hmm'', not expecting anything from it whatsoever. I didn't even know what kappa means, which is another reason what made me appreciate this show even more. This show not only teaches us how to connect with people and how we should take responsabilities towards our desires, but also indirectly teaches us about the traditional Japanese folklore, isn't this amazing?!
I had a feeling that I'm going to like this a lot so I wanted and forced myself to wait till this anime is going to finsih airing, cuz I won't be able to wait each week for the next episodes. Once I inevitably came across some short clips from the early episodes I couldn't anymore, and I glad I didn't wait. This way I met awsome people in this fandom, realising that is the most friendly and lively supporting stans, very engaged on supporting the whole show and its cast. I'm glad I didn't expect anything from it, because the feeling and reaction that gave me in the first episode was speechless. Yes, Reo and Mabu are the ones that caught my attention from the very beginning (from the trailer if you can imagine lol), they made me want to watch Sarazanmai the most and it really happened to love them the most from the entire show. (excluding the bl references, take it as characters per all)
I have to admit that I didn't think or expect I'd fall in love with this anime. I never had such feelings towards an anime. I literally had everything what I wanted: STUNNING VISUALS; GREAT CATCHY MUSIC; INCREDIBLE CHARACTERS; STORY FULL OF CLIFFHANGERS; and so on. I am at the point where I know all the lyrics from each song with a room full of Sarazanmai (ReoMabu) posters; I've rewatched Sarazanmai for 6 times(crying even worse each time) and I won't ever get bored of it.
Shout out to Kunihiko Ikuhara for making all the characters so lovable and giving to all of them highlight moments. I can't hate any character, not even Otter... (of course I do hate him, but he looks too cute to hate, just look at him lol but I still hate him!). Yes, I think I developed an obsession for Sarazanmai, but it's an healthy obsession kero! EAT VEGETABLES KIDS it's heathy dish!
STORY - 9
AMAZING! It's a fantasy type story(towards the end especially) that honestly i've never been into but SARAZANMAI MAKE IT WORK SO WELL! All the ups and downs full of cliffhangers made me so engaged, thinking and processing each week with theories and speculations + NOT ONLY THAT IS WAS ALSO CONNECTED WITH ReoMabu's twitter account. That was the most mind blowing thing to me that ever existed in anime plots. Thinking that an twitter account contributing in its anime plot is genious, especially during the airing period. The new fans that came after the airing time would never understand unfortunately how engagind this was.
ART - 10
STUNNING ART! STUNNING ANIMATION! JUST SO BEAUTIFULLY DONE! It didn't lack at anything. It was a pleasure to watch this anime full of nice blending colors!
MUSIC - 10
I've said it already and I'll say it again...I'M OBSESSED WITH THE ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK LIST. I know all the songs and lyrics, I just can't stop listening to them SOIYA! Sadly people are not talking much about Sara's solo, honestly that one is one of my favorite and Teiko's voice is beyond devine! Check out more of her songs from her band, you don't know what you're missing!
CHARACTERS - 10
I just LOVE THEM ALL!!! All my precious golden trio and ReoMabu are the best best best best! KAPPA SAIKOU! How can you NOT love them?! I even love Chikai even though he was acting like a bastard but is Toi's brother after all, I love Toi, so I can't hate Chikai... first actually Chikai caught my attention because of his hot looks....come on.....uuufff <3 and of course I couldn't help myself from not shipping them all duuuhh
ENJOYMENT -10
YES YES YES I WAS MORE THAN 100% INVESTED IN THIS!
I know Sarazanmai is not the best anime out there but for me, is the best for how attacted I got to it. I can't express myself for how happy I am now this anime exists! I MUST THANK TO IKUHARA KUNIKINO FOR CREATING THIS MASTERPIECE! (in my eyes is a masterpiece) If I'll ever meet him, I say how much he crushed my heart and healed it at the same time.. thank you Ikuni thank you!
