Honestly, this anime had so much more to offer the audience. Those who want to watch this one, know that this anime is incomplete and there is a cliffhanger at the end. So, you will need to read the manga whatsoever. This anime could be so much better if it were a 50+ episode anime. It had a good story. Good enough music. And the characters had so much potential to flourish. However, I loved watching this one despite no season 2 (till now: Dec, 2024).

The story revolves around a city with many outlaws. Four families run it and balance the power. Here are ... our protagonists: Worrick and Nicolas. They are the handymen around the neighborhood and solve people's problems by force or wits. The animations gave me a fullmetal alchemist vibe. I wanted to end my review within the first paragraph, but this site is not letting me do it. So, I am forced to write this second paragraph.

Isekai Ojisan takes a unique approach to the isekai genre, offering a fresh and humorous take on the typical conventions of the genre. Although the animation quality is lacking, the show's storyline and character development manage to overcome this and provide an enjoyable viewing experience.

I got familiar with Ichigo Mashimaro after watching a ton of clips of Sasazuka being called out by the teacher for the most trivial issues possible. It seemed funny to me (and it was funny) and I searched on the internet about the clip, and there I found this gem. This series was not as funny as Nichijou or other top-tier comedy anime but was soothing.
This anime had a relaxing art style along with a comfortable pace. You will feel a peaceful bliss whenever you watch the Itou sisters, ... their friends, and their neighbor Miu.
This series will show their life on various occasions, their relationships, and the sour and sweet struggles of the children. While the older sister Nobue Itou struggles with her habit of smoking and babysitting her little sister, her neighbor, and their friends, all the other characters make the series more lively with their different personalities.

The visual is kept simple to soothe your mind and avoid distractions as much as possible; in my opinion, it works. The sound design was also kept simple so that you don't struggle with relating the anime to the simple lifestyle of those two sisters and their gang. You will not get the most amazing character development here, but the method of showing the relation among the characters is very good. If you are not nitpicking, it will not bother you much.

The reason for giving it an 8 out of 10 was that I felt very relaxed that I got bored a little while watching the anime and it was not the right time to watch it. I think I would have given it a 10 if I watched it some other time and the character Miu was not so annoying.

This was the first one-piece movie that I watched in the movie theater and it was, in a way, boring.

Like, I get it. This movie has good animation, and good sound designs, the plot is not so bad, it has all the characters that might raise your expectations, and also has some songs. But I will be straight to the point. This movie did not give me the one-piece vibe I was looking for. This movie was more like a typical Disney movie. The songs were good up to a point. But I think there were six songs and that is a lot for ... a film. If every song takes 4 minutes, that's one episode of an anime gone just by using the songs.

The plot was good. But it could have been better. It was simple, yet complex. But no matter how good the plot is, if the execution is this boring, then it will not have a wow effect on the viewers.

Even the scene where the main characters are introduced did not seem so exciting to me.

I was about to drop this anime in the middle of the first episode. But I gave it a chance to prove itself worthy and it did. Even before finishing the first episode, I was hooked on this show.

Odd taxi is not an anime with your usual anime-style drawing. This anime will not even express any kind of thriller vibe from its art style which might be the best thing about it. This anime shows a simplistic art style while narrating a thriller. It was a whole new experience for me.

Moreover, I liked the storytelling in this show. This show has a ton ... of characters. But all of them get almost the same screen time (except the protagonist of course). The story has a non-existent amount of time-wasting moments. The mysterious events in the simple life of Hiroshi Odokawa (the protagonist) were shown brilliantly with every character's uniqueness. The twists in each episode are worth mentioning. The turn of events due to the involvement of every character, no matter how small they are, was summed up so amazingly that I actually watched the last episode twice. (Just wait for the last episode and you will be mesmerized)

The OST and the sound design were also brilliant. So simple, yet so gorgeous.

While writing this review, I was so tempted by the story of this anime, I had to frequently press the backspace to not share any kind of spoiler. But it's very hard for me to describe this show's worth without actually telling the story. I would suggest you give this show a chance no matter what genre you are fond of watching. THIS ONE WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.

Dr. stone is a masterpiece, trust me on that. And this movie again proved that.
This series might not have a lot of action or so-called thrilling scenes, but this one has the one thing that we need the most in our life.

S C I E N C E

This movie introduces a new character, Ryuusui. In this short movie of 1 hour, we see some new concepts like inventing money and other means of travel unveiled. The art and the music in this movie are the same as in the series. Also, the thrill is also the same. They didn't even waste a bit of ... screentime. The whole duration of the movie was very exciting to watch. WAtching a civilization prosper was never this much exciting.

There is nothing much to say about this one actually. Just you know that you will be thrilled. If you love this series, you will definitely love this movie.
