(1) To me, reading a manga where the most popular types of villains gather in one place to fight each other is just a dream coming true. It might sound exaggerating but just imagine every boss from every Souls games being trapped in a place and forced to fight each other: Gael meeting Malenia, Nameless King meeting Radahn,...and you, The Ashen One, being the outsider grabbing popcorn. Sounds great, huh?

I'll go straight to the point: The show is good enough to make me buy all of its visual novels (called Nope Nope Nurses on Steam). I don't regret doing so. What makes the show that good?

I agree with another reviewer that Sakusei Byoutou gives off the vibe of 90s to early 2000s hentai. Its sinister atmosphere is something that's been lost in many modern hentai shows. Even its visual novels and manga, although quite good on their own, still struggle to deliver the same atmosphere. I'd love the heavy use ... of dark colors for the show, as this suits the story more than the lighter colors in visual novels.

Each episode features a different nurse. The character designs are quite diverse, so you won't find any repitition. I love the more sinister nurses, such as Kurokawa, Kiritani or Numajiri, as their vibes match the atmosphere of this story. And in visual novels, those three are the ones being able to keep such vibes till the end. If Tachibana somehow turns into a heroine in the later half of the visual novels, you can see Kurokawa as an anti-heroine. She might be on "good" side (I mean, the protagonist's side), but she's still as cunning as ever. Episode 7 really does her dirty. In visual novels, Yamaguchi is the one who reveals the dark side of Kiritani to Yamada. Kurokawa has never been the type standing up to you, so what she did in Episode 7 is way out of her character. To me, that's a minus for the show. In other hand, Hiramatsu is way better in the show than the novels, and the protagonist is also less annoying.

Each episode is only 15 minutes long, so it's hard to tell the story in details. Limited budget is another issue, but I think Sakusei Byoutou did try its best to catch my attetion and keep me interested up to now. I completed its viusal novels, but I'm still looking forward to more episodes. I still suggest you read its visual novels, for better character development, more backstories of each nurse and a quite satisfying ending (something that won't be included in this show, considering its budget).

It's strange that my first review on this site is a hentai review. I've seen many better shows than this. However, I'm still glad to recommend this show to you all. Maybe there's still hope for the hentai industry, which has gone downhill in recent years.

NOTE: I checked vndb and saw that the first part of its visual novels was released on April 30, 2021 (at the same time as this show) and the final part on October 28, 2022. So, manga and anime are based on visual novel, but not vice versa.
