I was amazed when I began watching this anime. From the first episode to the last, each episode was very enjoyable. What makes this anime interesting is the fact that some unknown player comes and beats all of the best junior players in Japan. It is fun to watch Ryoma Echizen, the growing prodigy of tennis and the son of a tennis legend. The techniques that the players use (Ryoma's twist serve or Tezuka's Zero Degree Drop Shot) takes the anime up a notch. Also, when the matches become intense, everyone will be on their toes to see what moves Ryoma Echizen will bring out.

I found great pleasure when watching this anime. There was quite some hesitation when I began watching the series. I did not know what I was getting into, so I watched with an open mind: I was astounded. The series seriously took me by surprise. By the time the anime ended, I was pleased to add this to my history of animations. The action, the suspense, the surprises, the interesting characters, and most of all, the lovable brothers made this enjoyable.
A main concern I had before watching the series was about the demons and Satan. At first, I thought I was going to be ...

I am completely overwhelmed with the slow pace of this show. This show is not what it used to be back then. The story is definitely good, the art is decent, sound...sure it's good, characters are definitely interesting, but I just cannot enjoy it because it is so slow. The fights are too long. At first it was fine, but it kept on nagging me. I'm just going to drop it. It was fun watching this anime series, but it just is not developing quickly enough.
