The promised never land, a anime about these kids who live in an “orphanage”. Every so often a kid gets “adopted” and gets sent away. One day this girl name conney gets “adopted”. She has a stuffed bunny and she leaves without it. Two other kids from the orphanage saw that she left her stuffy there and they decide that they want to go and give it to her. The only problem is they cannot go outside or near the gate that surrounds the orphanage. They try and catch up and see the truck she’s supposed to be in…the gate is opened so they decide to cross the gate…the best decision ever. They find the girl in the truck dead with a flower growing out of her. They find out they live in a place where the children are food to these things they call demons. The whole story they try and find a way out of the orphanage to escape.
Let me just say this is one of the most thought out thrillers I’ve seen in a while. It’s so phycological that it’s crazy! I loved it so much. The way the children have to figure out how to escape is just amazing. The whole plot is great. First of all the reason this anime isn’t a 10/10 is…(because the 2nd season) well idk why…
The characters are all lovable except the villains which are written in a way to hate or despise them. It’s so crazy how they can do that. They make you feel warm inside in some scenes…but then you feel bad because you remember the whole plot of the story.
I am reading the manga right now from the second season because the anime didn’t follow the manga. It kinda did but then it took almost all the arks out…stupid choice but hey can’t fix it now right?
Right? RIGHT? (You should fix the second season just a thought)
The fact that they make it seem my favourite character dies (if you know you know) and then bring him back in his villain era is great. I literally cried for so long because it was so sad that he “died”. The way they showed his memory’s of his life were so sad…that’s the part I started to become depressed even though I was already crying.

Okay anyway I personally think this story is a 10/10 but I have to give it a 9/10 because knowing what the second season is…just ruins the feel of the story. Anyway I would definitely recommend this series to anybody who likes phycological thrillers. PLEASE MAKE A SECOND SEASON IM BEGGING 😭😭😭 (no hate to people who actually enjoyed the 2nd season, I just wanted there to be more thriller involved and not adventure…)

Komi can’t communicate follows Komi that is the prettiest and most popular girl in school, but there is one problem…she has severe social anxiety. She has a goal of making 100 friends by the end of school with the help of her classmate (and friend) tadano. He is a regular guy and is considered “unimportant” at his school. He runs into komi after class and they started talking. Most of the story is from his pov.
Actually I don’t have anything “bad” to say about this anime. The only reason I was hesitant to watch it and the reason it doesn’t have a huge score ...
