I'll get right to the point and say that I thought Diamond is Unbreakable was a solid OK, it wasn't terrible but it was definitely the weakest of the 4 parts so far in my opinion.

SPOILER WARNING: While I'll try not to give away spoiler moments in the show, I will talk about missed opportunities or things that I think the show could have done which basically implies that it didn't happen hence the spoiler warning (mouthful lol)

Story - One of the two things I liked LEAST about the show. It started off pretty interesting with the introduction of our new hero and how he's ... connected to the JoJo lineage but after the chili pepper arc I felt like we didn't need to be in this town of Morioh anymore. Everything afterwards seemed to just kind of drag and then we got the villian of the week episodes and this new main antagonist that didn't really resonate until MUCH later in the show. The story and adventure of the previous JoJo parts were what made the show so interesting and fun but this felt very contained which made it a little boring.

Art & Sound - Far and away the BEST part of this show is the animation and music choices. Each character has a unique look about them and the opening/ending songs perfectly fit the bizarre nature of this show. Honestly at this point, it's pretty much a given that watching this show will be visually satisfying even if the story itself is a weak.

Characters - This is what bugged me the most about this show, the emptiness of a lot of these characters which is a shame because we spent 39 episodes with them. The main character Jousuke is pretty good and resemble a young Joseph Joestar with his wit and humor. I really liked the creative ways he would use his stand. Kira as the main antagonist in the later half was weak at first but he definitely became more formidable as time went on. Truly a scary villian almost on the same level as Dio. Kouichi was probably the only character that showed development and it was apparent in his stand that evolved as the show went on. Okuyasa... sigh the DEFINITION of a missed opportunity since he probably has one of the coolest and most interesting stands but does basically nothing with it after the chili pepper arc. I think it was a huge writing mistake to make a character that dumb have a stand that interesting. Joutarou was like a mentor and had some standout moments while Joseph was practically handicapped and sidelined to be a caretaker of some random invisible baby. Last character I want to talk about is Rohan who was intoduced late into the show as something of a villian but quickly became one of my favorite characters and added so much to the show with his interesting Stand and investigative skills. Everyone else, hair stand girl, chef man, makeup woman, Shigechi etc were all pretty much forgettable

Enjoyment - When the show was good it was GOOD. The beginning ARC and last like 10 episodes had me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, etc it's just that middle portion of complete nonsense and no plot that drove me crazy. A must watch for fans.

Overall/Closing thoughts - I think this was good but it could have been MUCH better. It's my least favorite arc to date with a story that was too contained in a town that I didn't really care that much about. Hope Part 5 adds more fun and adventure when (if) that comes out!

Few Words: The best anime about assassins

Short Summary: This anime exceeded my expectations drastically and kept me wanting more till the last episode. The pacing in this anime was excellent. It never felt dry and every episode was important even if it didn't seem that way at first. The action in this show was top notch which is surprising because the story is very deep and it is usually hard to have a deep anime with great action scenes but this anime was able to combine the two masterfully. The best aspect of this show, in my opinion, was the complete character change that ... the three main characters went through. Zwei goes through the most changes and it's interesting to see him go back and forth from ruthless assassin to broken teenager. This isn't a really upbeat anime so expect mellow music and a gloomy atmosphere. Also be prepared for some characters that you might get attached to, to die.

Tip: The dub for this anime is actually really good.

Couple Words: Fresh perspective on a modern issue

Short Review: This is definitely an anime to watch if you are a fan of character development and stories that can relate to you personally. First off the music fit this anime perfectly and the opening song has already become one of my favorites. The characters were drawn realistically and each fit their personality. What makes this anime so good is that while you think it focuses on the death and reappearance of Menma, it's actually more centered on how the main characters have begun to drift apart as they have gotten older. It tackles the issues of ... dealing with the death of a loved one and growing up beautifully in a way that still's enjoyable to watch.

Tip: In order to really enjoy this anime, don't focus on how Menma is there and what she is. The only thing you need to focus on is why she's there and put the rest together on your own.

One Word: Disappointing

Short Review: When I read the story line and character bios for this anime I had high expectations for Blood+ but sadly they weren't met. The art and sound were the only two things that I thought were pretty good but everything else was lacking. The love triangle between Saya, Haji and Kai was plain annoying with these two guys chasing after a girl who constantly second guesses herself. The story felt like it dragged on and could have definitely been told better in 20-26 episodes. Lastly the action scenes were painful to watch because usually a character gets stronger after facing multiple ... obstacles and trials which enables them to be strong enough to face their final problem. In this show, however, our main character starts off at her peak and gets weaker throughout the entire show winning her battles through pure luck. This is definitely not worth the 50 episode commitment.
