Both MCs are literal demon, simply assisting the humankind to achieve peace and threat-free life. However, the deeper the plot is, the more you, as a reader, find how twisted the situation them MCs are sarificing themselves for.

Chainsaw Man

Both MCs are willingly pledging their life to demon in order to achieve a goal. While Owari no Seraph characters are aiming for a pure, good-guyish intention, Chainsaw Man's are expecting simple, self-centered goals they're almost relatable. Both are filled with eye-pleasing visuals, though in quite different way.

Sport manga where you can actually learn things, instead of just watching people duels and seeing the MC wins - zero to hero flow - contains some real knowledge

Showing dark period of ancient England, flowered with (might or might not necessarily) pretty ikemens. - Both have a lot of flower symbolism (if you squint hard enough) - Contains mxm dynamics, some platonics, some others are blatantly clear - Interesting MC angle

Both shows start with typical shonen introduction, but it goes into more intense and nasty (in a satisfying way) as the deeper layer of the plot got uncovered. The twist and complexity makes both series a really good binge-watch material, as the wait to the next episode is quite frustrating.

Romance anime where the characters are classical musician with each of their own struggle. How good the romantic part depends on your taste, but at least the classical piece can never go wrong

Both are sport manga which special abilities (skill) are ridiculously absurd, almost Pokemon/Ultraman-like.

Both anime have strikingly similar protagonist-deuteragonist dynamics (Sawamura-Miyuki x Hinata-Kageyama) dynamics, but the similarity doesn't stop at that. Both shows have: - proper step-by-step MC development, where they show enough of their struggle to reach the top - balanced spotlight between the main team and the antagonists, the wins and losses, the champions and the losers - sport trivia and strategy to make it somewhat educative - enough tension with the opposing team, but not too much to make them look like literal villain (you can still like your opponent)

Both anime are focusing mostly on worklife struggle. Having shitty bosses, useless peers, the pressure to do extra mile, and having to deal with literally everything, even those item not in your job description. Anything to ensure you can afford paying your monthly bill, alright.

As both protagonists are in charge of team strategist, you might learn some real thing instead of just watching the nakama thing doing their magic. I mean, if you are watching football anime not just for the win or lose, but also how they create the result.
