Both is simple romance manga that you couldn't hate except the simplicity itself Both are short, you can read it in one go Both are sweet... Higashi no Kurume is a little more weird and a little not expressive... But I still like how it goes and how it ends... more laid back... While Bocchi na Bokura is shorter, more expressive and make you feel more "doki2"

Things that smiliar? Supernatural things that only happen to two people and make them closer. Midori no Hibi is more silly (wtf, my right hand become a girl?) and old anime (clearly kimi no na wa is better), but you can still enjoy it especially if you already watch Kimi no Na wa and you can't forget about the movie and keep bugging you all the time and feel hopeless... The thing that Midori no Hibi do better is how the anime ends. Shinkai definetly still could learn something from Midori no Hibi

It has the same realistic sport without any special moves, and the person(babysteps)/team(ookiku) on the anime is good not because some illogical elements. And its start from zero.
