The big highlight on the similarity is that both story evolving in a highschool's club. The kicker is the club's president/founder/self-proclaimed "god" has this wicked "urge" to fix others problems. Although MM! has more "matured" content, I'd say both worth to watch

Both story developing in a highschool's club that apparently established to accommodate students with certain fetishes. The everyday students (especially the clubs member) life which filled with unimaginable yet hilarious scenes

A group of teenagers with super power ability. Both have enough dose of action and drama with a hint of comedy.

Despite the obvious difference between Alive which focused on preventing apocalypse with super power ability and Aku No Hana which more likely has the sense of bringing the apocalypse, but I found both of them to be dark and depressing yet tickling my curiousity .. and I hope you'd feel the same.

When I read Dr. Koto, I got the warm feeling, remembering that most people might "avoid" medical-themed manga because the image of medical world itself could be pretty scary or at the very least "heavy". But Dr. Koto showed the humane side of a doctor, in which I felt the same warmth from reading Godhand Teru.
