The characters of Land of Lustrous may be immortal rocks but they are more human and have more emotions than many other characters from other famous manga. The characters have clashes between them and their different ways of seeing the situation they are in and those kinds of works where at one point the protagonist falls to a low point and becomes an antagonist are always something interesting to read for me.
