Both webtoons revolve around art, and the act of creating, with beautifully complex characters and stories. While they are different people in vastly different situations, art is everything to the main characters. Both series have psychological elements and a bit of revenge, and I think it's super interesting to see how they're carried out differently! I will say, this is a loose recommendation. I just have a feeling that someone who enjoys the art aspect of one series would enjoy the other.

Though they're set in vastly different environments, I noticed a lot of similarities between them. They kind of give the same vibe but specifically in the characters, let me explain: - The humor is very similar, it's right up my alley - Both main characters are stubborn but extremely likeable with strong morals, and grew up around mostly brothers. I have a feeling they'd get along very well irl. Their personalities are very similar! - They were both forced into situations that are basically their biggest nightmare, against their will (in a comical way). Yet they find a way to absolutely dominate their field. - Their best friends are also extremely similar in personality lol. They have the same duo pairing trope - Both have this kind of animated feel to them, especially MSG: SNV. It feels like you're watching a classic anime or a cartoon—from the expressions to the dialogue and humor, it's so nice - The problem solving is super interesting. With these types of stories it's easy for the plot to become repetitive but I don't feel like that happens in these two! For differences, I'd say the male love interest plays a bigger role in TCPS, while in MSG it focuses more on the characters as individuals and people. And of course, the genres and world-building are also very different.

I'm going almost solely on vibe here. I think this rec is perfect for people like me who love action (like Lookism) but aren't the biggest fan of tower-advancing stories. IMLN is still a tower-advancing story, but something about it just hits right. It's the perfect mix of action and story, and in my opinion, there's something about it that's different from other tower-advancing stories.
