Clannad was a underdog, another steryotypical anime. It started with the same plot that countless others have adapted, it stood out amongst them.
Clever dialougue, action (surprishingly...), plot developments aswell as pre-existing relaitionships with other characters and a random encounter with a stranger made this into something addictive. YOu wont stop at ep.1, you'll go onto .2...3..4 and before you realise it you actually care what happens to Tomaya and Nagisa.
It rounds things off nicely with random plots and alot of laughs, truly one im glad to have watched.

Baseball. It has alot of mixed reviews when it comes to sports, but its just sports and its always amazing when you see someone give it all they have for the love of it.
Thats all this anime is about, they did milk it a bit though, Goro with a upbringing of the sport hardwired to inspire his surrounging friends with uncomprimising determination. Overall I would rank this 8/10, better than Prince of Tennis. (Not because its better, only because they reaaalllly dragged that one out). Jun 20, 2009
Thouroghly enjoyed the film and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the genre.
Opening with Cloud, looking depressed as usual, and only throwing him into a fantastical story of genetics, mystery and action. Mix in a plot that only fans could follow with motorbikes, explosions, shinra reborn, supernatural martial arts and of course, the legend, sephiroth and you know youre in for something special. |
