This anime is the perfect reason about why people should go face to face to each other and be careful when hiding secrets. It is about a 5 schoolmates and friend that suddendly are kidnapped in a crazy games called "friendship games" in order to get rid of an important debt. Within the course of the events, the secrets, the sociopathy, and the hunger for win, no matter what it cost, became more notorious and their relationship shatters as seconds passing by.

Animation style is not the best one, and the ost is fair enough, but this kind of plot and how something so ethereal ... sometimes like friendship and secrets behind it can ruin entire lives forever is shown here in a raw way, specially with characters like Yuichi. It is true that at some point, some characters dissapear and we know nothing about them, but that can be fixed in a second season.

So, in conclusion, if you like gore, and are curious about how a group of friends are able to destroy each other for money, putting appart human values like friendship, loyalty or love, you must definitely give it a try.

Vampire's garden is a Netflix yuri in collaboration with Wit Studio, which explains the awesome quality of the animation. In a world where humans and vampires are in eternal war, a girl (Momo) and a vampire (Fine), escape from their relative realms in a journey, seeking for the Paradise where humans and vampire can coexist and live in peace.

Well, the message of this ONA is truly wholesome for me, but i cannot explain it without write spoilers. The bad part is that the story is sometimes a truly nonsense, for example, when the girls arrive at some town unconscious and when Momo wakes up, the ... native knows exactly their names and the aim of their journey when they didn't even open their mouths, or when a fuel tank explodes directly in the face of Momo and she stands up without a single scratch, and my favourite: first time driving a car and you nailed it like a Formula 1 pilot.

In my opinion, in order to avoid some missing scenes that make the viewer not understand what is happening sometimes, Wit Studio could made a season of 12 episodes explaining full story instead of 5 with random cuts.

Despite all of the above, if you like yuri, vampires and stories about impossible love, give it a try.

I put this anime on my list long time ago and finally the time has come to watch the 12 episodes. Before I have started watching this anime i read a very bad review in a otaku magazine from my country and so I've decided to watch it for myself.

The story is about two girls lost in a world of rooftops waiting for someone to became a new God. So basically people are divided in newcomers, angels (the masked ones) and the ones closer to be a God (like candidates). Now then the rest is just to survive, but the story is good enough to ... not be boring and not only for the pantsu-flash. Maybe at the beggining you won't understand nothing but is a matter of time.

I recommend to give it a try. Actually i am wating for second season.

This second season is more about the backstories of Tohru (mainly) and the other dragons (in a minor way).

Unlike the first season, this anime looks more into the dephts feelings of the characters than into the funny cliches of the tipical slice of life anime which made the perfect slice of life I've ever seen till now. Just missed the beach episode (yes, we had it in season 1 but why not another round?).

Also, in my opinion, Ilulu could appear more, you can seen her in the firsts episodes and in that one in which she gets a job at the candy store but that's ... all except for some random appears of 30 seconds.

Another slice of life with basics elements of what you would expect when comes to watch an anime like this, even the beach episode but with some nippled oppais.

As a slice of life itself only changes the base of the story in order to have a plot: Koushi lost his home due to a fire and his father ran away with the insurance money, so he is living on a street bench until a girl from a student dorm called Atena finds him and she and the other girls "adopt" Koushi as their little brother.

Then the rest is just a lot of funny adventures about ... college life and a kid in between: Science, cosplays, lunar powers, kung-fu, family values and soooo much oppais.

I really enjoyed this one.

This anime is very strange but it keep you on it in so many ways. The story is about a high society family of human shaped shadows, the adults are separated from the children, because first, they have to learn how to behave as an aristocrath, and the shadow kids, have to educate their "living dolls" too. The ost and animation are amazing, that sometimes it reminded me to the film Spirited away. A curiosity about it is that the first episode is only about Kate and Emilico and it was made so good that you don't get bored with only two characters in 23 ... minutes. Of course some episodes can be repetitive or hard to get but not to make the story bad. In my opinion you should give it a try.

I can't give it 10 points because of some nonsense spots (probably for the hand of CloverWorks studios) and personally I didn't like how the season ended.

Well, let's be honest: Girls driving tanks, everyone is here for the plot, and you are not quite wrong, actually, but there is so much more when you watch the anime.

First of all: This IS NOT Youjo Senki, this girls are not in a war, they are involved in a sport called "Panzerfharen" and it is a martial art. They are fighting for the achievement of the World Cup. The anime is full of cultural references of European Battles since the beginning of the Otoman Empire till WWII, the teams are divided in High Schools for girls only, and each High School represent a country: ... as far as i could see, those countries were: Japan, Germany, Italy, UK and USSR. The battles are so realistic by the way.

Now, the bad part: The animation is so poor: most of the girls have the same body shape and face shape only changing the color of eyes and hair style. The only different girl is the Pravda Commander Katyusha (By the way: she appears at the first time dropping out of a Katyusha rocket launcher, introducing herself as Katyusha and singing the war song: Katyusha hehe). The jokes are so repetitive and the characters have no kind of evolution, and new teams appear in the chapter 10 without knowing anything about this girls whom were in the same high school all the time.

Conclusion: Good anime, not great, the plot is different and curious but nothing more

Another scholar slice of life anime with high school life, hanabi and of course, beach episode. Surrounded by the bad tongues about the incetement for bullying, but if you see the whole anime without being a "baizuo" you'll see that is not the case.

The story is very repetitive until episode 10, when art club president appears and make a good and neccesary plot twist. It is possible that you being bored at the beggining but it worth it.

In my opinion last episode leave us an important message about freedom of speech that should be listened by everyone. There is nothing left for me to say, ... the anime is not so different of others slice of life/scholars animes of that kind.

Well, I'm new in the spocon world, but this does not hit me like others I've watched.

We have a little boy who quits ice skating being a child, and back to high school meets a boy who is the sibling in law of the childhood rival, and convince him to come back to ice in a team for a competition called Skate-leading and beat in the ice, when he tries to do it, the high school team keeps refusing him.

Okay, but the same story in every episode, we have not seen to much ice skating, not a single match except for the duel, that the ... MC had with the other boys in order to enter the club. But it just lasted 2 minutes.

This anime does not care about the sports at all, is just a bunch of ultra-mega handsome boys with some fanservice of perfect abs and bodies, when you have like 7 minutes of ice skating and the rest of the time, they are just talking about nonsense past and why they should have the main character out of the club.

Sorry but this is not my idea about a spocon anime

Sorry in advance for the spoilers, but this time i'm unable to express myself without one or two:

Tomoko Kuroki is a 15 years old girl who just entered high school, and has high expectatives to be very popular and stay surrounded for a lot of friends. But she can't speak to anyone without a panic attack, so she starts to believe that the fault that she is so unpopular and no one talks to her is just everything fault but not her's. She has another sibling, Tomoki, a boy who is the striker of the football team and has some friends unlike his sister.

Well now, ... true review and spoilers beyond this point:

Tomoki is a girl that we could call "a weeb" she has a lot of questions about the typical changes on a young body (puberty), sex and why life is so unfair, in a truly, truly, truly, raw way. This could be just a comedy but it is more real than you guys, can even imagine.
She never talk to his parents about this kind of things, and looks shelter in his brother but him keeps refusing her and continuosly bumped her from his room.

Every single episode is a disgrace in Tomoko's life and ends with her questioning what's wrong with her, until in the final episode, she realizes that she just is what she is; she is just Tomoki and if Tomoki is unpopular, well... who cares??

Plus to the previous and very curious to me: This is the first slice of life anime, (if we can call it like this), where the mother slaps daugther for his behaviour (twice), which is a very common form of education in many countries but is never shown in this kind of animes

True teenage life in just 12 episodes, give it a try
