One of the masterpieces after konosuba. When I first watched it I didn't know that this was an adaptation of the game. And usually adaptations of games are bad, but this one is an exception. They really managed to make the game into an anime that is really worth watching.
From the overall story, I think it's good, because it shows a complete story but can be presented casually as a slice of life. And one thing I really like is how they turn a few trivia into a really fun comedy. Just like Konosuba and I'm so grateful to be able to get a story

like that again.
In terms of art, this anime is very similar to Konosuba, from the characters, buildings, scenery, and magic. And the same advantage as konosuba is that they can show a lot of behavior and cuteness of the character very well. They succeeded in making each character more unique and memorable.
From the sound and music, this anime is really good at demonstrating every scene with suitable music. Like Konosuba, this anime has a good intro, outro, and background music. And also in the sound effect, it is very similar to Konosuba. Even though it's similar, thanks to that, I really enjoy watching this anime without getting bored.
In terms of character, I think each character has its own uniqueness that is easy to remember. Some characters do look simple but their uniqueness makes their characters unforgettable. Because that's the character who managed to make the comedy in this anime run smoothly.
So even though a lot of people say it's a copy of konosuba I think that's a good thing. Because having the same director from Konosuba this anime can provide better things and without flaws in terms of plot, music, and characters. And these two anime can be a benchmark for other anime that want to resemble this genre.

Honestly, the comedy peak of this anime is really predictable, because 90% of all episodes are comedy and I can guarantee that. And don't just look at the comedy, but look at 10% of each episode has a moment where that moment should not be skipped.
The MC here is someone who is quite good at handling situations. He can change any situation according to his tenacity and his unyieldingness that amazes me. He is actually not a lecherous MC but he is a true gentleman.
Maybe after seeing the harem genre you think that the MC here only wants to play with women's feelings. But the fact is the opposite, the MC here wants to keep women's feelings and the MC always wants to make them happy.
He is not an ordinary man but he is a true chad who should be a role model for every man. This story also has a lot to do with today's life and is very related to us.
The animation in my opinion is quite good, but some scenes show a very stiff visual and make me a bit bored to see it. However, the ugliness of these scenes can be corrected with a comedy that is truly cultured.
The music is also good and very modern. In terms of character, each character has its own characteristics but in my opinion, their characteristics are quite ordinary but meeting expectations and seeing them will not bore you.
Honestly, when this anime first aired, I thought it was just an endless harem. But after seeing that it was done, I could feel that the harem this time was quite moral and competitive because each of them wanted to be number 1 for the MC. Black clover is one of the best new-gen anime nowadays. Why, because in my opinion this story is made really like shonen anime in general but really meets the desired expectations.
In my opinion, the advantages are the comedy that is unique because each character has their own unique characteristics and there are lots of funny and random moments that make me smile and won't get bored watching it.
Then the moment where the MC can make people around him become his friend and his character who never gives up is what I really like. These two things are the expectations I want from a shonen anime,

most other shonen anime do have these two things but a lot of them don't meet my expectations and satisfaction.
Black clover has comedy, drama, action, and emotional timings that are right for me and one more thing is the badass MC moment that really meets my expectations.
In terms of animation, it's also a bit bad but within normal limits, because this is one of the long run anime, but when the big moment happens the animation becomes very good, that's why you have to watch this anime.
In terms of art style, black clover has good art and in my opinion, it is almost equivalent to jujutsu kaisen. In terms of black clover music, it exceeded my expectations, every opening and outro music was really good and matched the anime.
Honestly, when I marathon this anime, I can't stop watching it because it really makes me addicted. And in my opinion, black clover is not plagiarism of other shonen anime. Many think this is plagiarism because there are so many stories of MCs being possessed by demons.
But black clover is different because this will exceed what you expect from an MC possessed by a demon in general. You will see the journey of an MC who from the beginning was not overpowered, but he had to train very hard to become overpowered. Zero to hero is the right word for this story.
So watch the anime and read the manga because the story really won't let you down.
