First of all, I would like to say Clannad is definitely on of the most beautiful anime I've seen for the past 9 years I started watching anime. It's story is so fabulous(woah, I've never used that word, haha) that it can make you smile, laugh, frown, cry, and ask for more. It has this somewhat complex charm that appeals to its viewers and it stays true to its promises.

The art is well-done. I mean, it's well detailed and amazing. Animation is nicely done and some moments are such eye candy. Seeing as how it's a slice of life anime, the art is expected ... to seem realistic and it is. The CGI used on some character(s) are also superb. However, it's an anime so we can't expect it to be somewhere near looking like a live-action.

As for the sound, it fits perfectly to the events of the show. I mean, when the atmosphere is sad, the music helps out the mood. Same goes for being happy. It's not like in some where the mood is sad and then the music is happy, haha. It's music is just right. A nice blend of sad and happy music forming with sad and happy events that makes this one spectacular anime.

Characters are very unique and also give importance to the story. What I'm saying is for example: Cinderella could've been anyone, but in Clannad, the main character gives out importance. In other words, a story like Cinderella could've happened to anyone, but a story like Clannad can only happen to its unique characters. Namely Nagisa, the heroine of the story, whose personality and character traits make her important to the story. Likewise the message I'm trying to give is that the story of Cinderella could've happened to Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, but the story of Clannad would hardly happen to characters from another anime.

Finally, we go for how we enjoy this anime. I've seen many anime from my experiences and I've enjoyed most of them. Clannad is one of those most. With a performance that is phenomenal, you could watch it several times again and again because of the ways it makes you laugh and cry. Overall, Clannad is definately one of the best anime out there...in my opinion, that is. And I do know most of you could agree on that.

Even though I've only seen two episodes, it's easy to tell that Hyakko has potential and we could all agree on that. The characters are so unique that their personalities tie this strong bond that gives the anime a more appealing enjoyment. Likewise, this show is hysterically funny and one of the good laughs for the Fall '08 anime line-up. At first I thought it won't be great, but as I got into the first episode, I found out that it has the potential. Anyways, long story short, Hyakko is a very great anime and has this unique charm to it.
