So, Madoka Magica, eh? Well, Madoka is a SEEMINGLY lighthearted, girl-ish mahou shoujo show, and normally I wouldn't touch shows like that with a 10 foot pole, as the genre just doesn't appeal to me.
What made me watch it? Well the thing that made me watch it a while ago is the anime community simply exploding and praising the hell out of it.. Were they right? YES, YES THEY WERE!
Story: 9-10/10
Here we have the story of Madoka, a normal highschool girl with a normal family, and OH MY DEAR GAWD NO DECEASED PARENT(S), who meets a strange-looking-animal-thing, Kyuubey, that wants her to sign
...
a contract with him and become a magical girl, yay. So far, so good, but as Madoka gets thrown in this unexplored world of magical girls and witches she begins to understand things she has never thought of before.
Art: 9/10
The art of this show is great as it perfectly presents the world you are getting into and from the first moment of episode 1 you know that this show, is in fact NOT your typical mahou shoujo show, thanks to it.
Sound: 10/10
The soundtrack deserves a solid 10/10 as it is completely beautiful. Plus it's done by Yuki Kajiura, whoose soundtracks are always amazing /see Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai,Pandora Hearts and every anime she has ever made the OST for/
Characters: 9/10
I can't go explaining everything about the characters in-depth without spoilers, but let me tell you this... YOU WILL REMEMBER SOME OF THOSE CHARACTERS FOR LIFE.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I greatly enjoyed this show, as it was a nice surprise and I simply wasn't expecting what I saw. So if you are turned-off by the genre and the seemingly cutesy girls anime, then just give this genre-breaking masterpiece a try to change your opinion.

Oh yay, here comes another great anime I just have to rant on. School days is a harem anime thatb isn't your typical happy-go-lucky comedy harem show. No, School Days tries to be something more than that, but it fails at doing so...HORRIBLY.
*WARNING* everything from now on might be somewhat spoiling so read at you own risk.
Story: 2 (dreadful)
This is one of those animes that make you facepalm yourself so hard that your face turns into a blood red poster of a blurry image of something you shouldn't be looking at. I was raging over the stupidity of the plot for the entire show
...
(except the ending, which really was satisfying). A basic summary of the plot would be : a show about a horny teenage dickhead that wants to bang chicks and turns into a bona fide chick magnet for unknown reasons.
The only thing that is somewhat good about this show is the literally pleasant boat ride ending which left a satisfied face on a lot of the already tired audience of the show.
Art: 3 (poor)
Nothing special to be seen here, except of course about 1000000 panty shots per episode.
Sound: 3 (poor)
I didn't really notice the soundtrack being there at all except from the, you guessed it, song played in the end.
Character: 1(pathetic)
To shorten the thing up I am going to describe the more important characters simply.
Main guy : a dickhead that does not by any stretch of the imagination respect women and treats them like a piece of paper.
Main girl 1: quie..... yandere
Main girl 2: outgoin.... tsundere
The rest of the harem bait is simple forgettable but I do remember one thing. They were all bitches. Done.
Enjoyment: 4(decent)
I'm giving this a 4 simply because of the satisfaction I felt in the end.
Overall: 2 (dreadful)
The anime tries to be something that it definitely isn't and the characters are way too bland and lack and resemblance to realism.
Now that I have finished my rant, I can die peacefully.

I don't actually care about how much hate I am going to get for this review, so if you don't like my opinion there's a 'not helpful' button you can always click. Please do not try to haunt and kill me if I insult "the best anime evaaa".
Story: 3(poor)
First all all let me get one thing straight, as an mmorpg player myself I was really looking forward to seeing this anime as it was two of my favourite things mixed together and I thought that this was awesome. So maybe I went into the anime with my expectations set way too high, but then again it
...
is done by A-1 Pictures, which is the studio that made AnoHana, which I really liked. That aside lets continue with my 'amazing' opinion on this piece of poop.
For the first 3-5 episodes everything was going great. There was so much potential for this anime to be one of my all-time favourites, but as the story progressed the chance of that happening kept getting lower and lower. First of all I would like to know whether the god of time skips had something to do with the show, because I'm quite sure he did. Like how exactly can you have about 5 out of a 100 supposed boss battles showed. Also why the hell would the last boss be weaker than any of the pervious ones. Moreover the show ignores its premise and genre, and goes on to be a 'romantical comedy' for more than 3/4 of the show.
Which really bugged me.
Art: 6 (fair)
Now, the art for the anime was quite amazing to be honest, but unfortunately I feel like the creators put more effort into the boob-bouncing scenes, rather than the action scenes, which is a shame.
Sound: 7 (good)
Now that is a real waste, because the OST is done by Yuki Kajura, who also did the soundtrack to Fate/Zero, which is my favourite anime.. Not only that but the opening and ending themes (with the exception of one) are similarly done by the same artists who did the Fate/Zero ones which made me really angry as to why the Japanese are wasting such great songs for such a god awful anime.
Character: 2 (dreadful )
Oh gawd, where do I even start.
First of all the main character is as chiched and overpowered a character could possibly get. Such a shame his birthday is the same as mine...
The main female lead changes personality from the baddas mysterious girl she's first presented as to a bitchy damsel in disstress that needs to be protected by the main character as every other heorine out there
The rest of the harem bait don't even deserve an introduction
Enjoyment: 2 (dreadful)
With all that in mind I didnt really enjoy the anime and finished it only to be able to get a " I survived" badge
Overall: 3 (poor)
Overall this anime is full of crap and it is highly overrated.. despite the very few good things about it I would reccomend you not to watch it if you want your hair on your head and not in your hands as its been pulled out by yourself.
P.S. I shall now proceed to find a good hiding spot before I get killed by all the die-hard fanboys of the show.

Okay..where do I start. This is an anime done by Madhouse, so my expectations were quite high, since I've seen most of their other works, but oh God was I dissapointed.
Story: 3 (poor)
First of all I think that this is my major problem with the anime. For starters the whole magical stuff is quite chiche, but that is not my real problem here. The real issue is that the plotline is really quite predictable and it lacks development.
Overall the story is predictable and full of cliches used all over the place.
Art: 5 (mediocre)
The art for the anime is quite good, as expected of Madhouse,
...
but on quite a lot of occasions there are characters in the background that won't move, also as well as that there is some 'derp' faces coming from the main characters.
Overall the art isn't a major issue here.
Sound: 6 (fair)
Now that is the one thing about this anime I actually liked, with both the opening and ending themes being catchy and memorable the soundtrack fitting with the scenes and everything.. oh such a waste of great music.
Character: 4-3 (decent/poor)
Another major issue I have with this anime is the lack of character developmet. At the beginning we are introduced to a relationship that starts developing between the main male and female lead that does not develop any further than the first few episodes.Which is a real shame, because it would've been nice to see how thing worked out.
Enjoyment: 4 (decent)
You could say that I somewhat enjoyed the anime, but if it weren't for all of the things listed above I would've had far more fun watching the show.
Overall: 4 (decent)
With that in mind I reccomed this anime to anyone who is willing to watch a predictable shounen, full of cliches.
