Third season was the best. Overall among the best romcom series ever.
I will put it among the top tier romcom anime, Bunny girl, Horimiya and Kaguya sama.
Bunny girl was entertaining and addictive because of suspense and strong plot.
Horimiya, even I was surprised with how simple the story was, yet it delivered fabulously. I was reluctant to leave my seat while watching.
Kaguya-sama USP was psychological aspect in romance. If my memory serves me right, never before had this concept been introduced like this in romcom. Problem was kaguya sama series is episodic, every episode is a new war, but it adds to story and character development.

I picked it up after dropping it when it was aired before ( I remember dropping it before due to Onodera stupidity)
After finally completing the series, I can safely say, poor story writing, annoying cliche (infact the cliche are so annoying like Wuss MC n Girl procrastinating their confession, stupid and silly things get in the way like MC sleeps while his crush asks him to kiss, and then stupid MC wakes up and wuss crush is scared to confess, MC has emotional IQ of a kindergarden kid, he hurts girl by using negative words and then asks himself "Why is she angry with him?" Coming back to this anime after I left it years back. Poor storywriting, writer makes use of readers emotions and add stupid details in story like *spoiler alert MC women who is strong but still doesn't resist get bullied by her step bro and molested sexually.
I call it poor writing and it is a trademark of those writers whose story is not interesting enough so they resort to such tactics. Result is readers are emotionally riled and angry to see this and want to see more, and see MC punish bad character, which sometimes happen , and sometimes not. Seen such in so many anime I ...

It was torture watching all episodes. I usually don't give 1 star. Most anime have USP based on which they try to sell themselves. Some have action, some have mystery , some even fanservice or slice of life or some pure enjoyment.
This anime had nothing, the sheer torture and boredom I had to go through, especially thinking it might get good later, thinking it has 7.5 rating, so it might get good later. All expectations wrong. The premise of the story is in itself stupid. The reason Sayu left? Despite being from rich family, she left home and asked shelters from mutiple men in exchange of her body. When you hear the reason, you will find her no different from a whore.
Interestingly, because from starting few episodes , you will get a hint like that she used her body to ask men for shelter, and because there is fanservice, you will want to know why she did it? If you are sensitive, avoid this anime altogether because it will make you depressed on why you even watched this anime on a ...

One of the best mecha( if u call.object a mecha). In the middle of series it became a bit fast paced but I enjoyed the series nonetheless. Truly a hidden gem
And did I say there are nice ecchi scenes in first half, not like those baseless fanservice but truly nice ecchi.Never once I got bored and it kept me entertained throughout the show. Let me give chronological order of how i chanced upon this anime, Having run out of anime to watch, I sorted via rating and popularity and found this and thought "Wow 7+ rating n quite popular too and top reviews some even gave 10/10" .After watching 2 episode, I am.thinking world must be ending, how the heck it got 7/10 score, story? Moriarty is truly a gem of this year, but a warning before u start watching don't expect
too much mystery or ground breaking analysis every 10 mins (like sherlock englishtv series if u hve watched), but this series is worth 8/10 n worth enjoyment, it is like Saga of James moriarty, viewing the world frm his perspective. Also opening Soundtrack is mind boggling, one of THE BEST, the concept(like flower in blood ignored in middle of party, n Moriarty signature style of pointing gun at himself) the lyrics ,the music top notch Also series is episodic in nature but I still recommend watching it in one go. |
