This movie was absolutely amazing.A
And in my opinion, a movie was the perfect way to display this whole arc. It was a shorter one that really felt like if you didn't stay into it the whole time the immersion would be ruined.
I saw this in theaters 2 times and I would definitely go see it again. This movie had amazing animation, amazing storytelling, and amazing sound design. The demons were flashy and cool and I loved seeing the fights. Rengoku was an amazing hashira and had an amazing display of his breathing style. The main demon had an interesting ability that worked wonders for the ... internal storytelling of the main guys and it was interesting to see how he worked with the train to his advantage. Overall this movie is a must see and I think you could watch this instead of the seven episode miniseries.

Saw this in theaters. It was really entertaining. More enjoyable than the actual show and thankfully we finally got to see a different side of Kirito that didn't just seem like cyber Jesus. Even though the beginning was a tad too slow for me, I liked asuna's point of view in this and thought it maybe worked better for the storytelling than kiritos point of view. The art was amazing and I liked what they changed and the new characters that were added. Really enjoyed the sound track and how amazing it sounded. My favorite change was most definitely the additions and changes to the ... boss fight

Now this is one hell of a masterpiece that definitely deserves the hype and the anime that's gonna come out. The characters are so very interesting and really compel me to care about them. The power system is also absolutely interesting. By the end I was begging to see more and more of the different types of devils and see just how powerful they'd become, especially the natural fears that people are nearly born with. Overall the story left me with this feeling of sadness that it was over and just had me begging for more content. It left me desiring so much more from ... the story. It had me getting attached to characters just to see them off not even that many chapters later. It had me enveloped in the story and just in love with it all.

It was a masterpiece. In all honesty it was one of the best manga I've ever read and I'd recommend it to anyone who's just gotten into manga. I would not suggest to have this as your first(as you'd be wasting your time attempting to find something just as good). If you ever want a story that you may never get a satisfying ending for, but you just want a long and very enjoyable story then this is your story. I spent more time reading this rather than listening during my classes. The evolution of the main character and the world around him was excellent. ... I loved his journey of self reflection and discovering why he wants to become the strongest. Not just the main character, but the side characters were captivating as well. I genuinely loved the longer arcs showing the backgrounds of characters and the world.
Truly a 10/10
