I can't recommend this donghua enough. Watching this show made me cry harder than any other thing I've ever watched, period. (Cried on the first ep... second ep... third ep... you get the point)

The concept is honestly really unique, the art is gorgeous, I love the two central characters, the voice acting is top notch, and the plot twists are honestly some of the best I've seen in fiction, ever. I love the way both central characters react to the plot twists, too. Their dynamic is so so so enjoyable and they play off each other so well.

This is most definitely my top pick ... for the best show of 2021. I can honestly say I enjoyed every single second, and every scene had me on the edge of my seat. (And lemme tell you, I am quite picky with my shows. The only other show that's made me this emotional is Mob Psycho 100.)

Literally the only complaint I have about the show is I find the female lead extremelyyyyy annoying lol. That might even be intentional, so that's not really a fault of the show
