It started as one of the usual "I'm actually amazing but have no idea" with a plot that was looking quite interesting. But it turns out our MC is maybe not just naive but simple too and he isnt the only one here.
For example, lets say you are on secret mission to protect life of a royal family member who is targeted by assassins, so you grab your OP idiot, hire some adventures you just met and go lay some trap. The issue is, the ppl in this show thought it would be great idea to ... just tell all of this info to the adventures the very next day, cause you know...they were curious. So much for secret mission, and those are the smart characters. Meanwhile the OP idiot scrubs defense magic from walls in a house only his party ever entered (cuz he just build it doh) without giving it a moment to ask anyone if they perhaps put it there. All this while he builds a mansion in 3 days, kills dragon golem with just dagger etc.

Unless you plan to turn your brain off and just watch something silly with cute girls (I dont judge you) I suggest you stay away from this show, at least for now ... maybe we get some story later.

I just wanna mention this, since it could save someones time ... overall 6/10
The story is fine, theres alot of action and animation is very good. The sound effects are somewhat corny.
But the main warning is, that this show has one of the most annoying characters since Shinji. Its like Zennitsu and Shinji had a baby and its on the screen 90% of the time. I dont understand the reason behind this character trying to introduce some human counterpoint to out main duo and perhaps some (very poorly implemented) comedic relief. But he is so out of place in a decent story, with high stakes, ... emotions and all we get this loud annoying whiny wannabe samurai kid (mentally around 12) not just running around and breaking the atmosphere but also fcking over future situations with his incompetence. There is some attempt for development, but falls short again.
I somewhat managed to force my self thru the moments where he has more screen time with the help of right arrow key, mainly cause I needed some easy action show to unwind and the 2nd season has even better rating, but I have to say having to fight this huge annoying plot armor had me waver multiple times,

IDK why but I expected much more since its an older manga, that survived for this long...I ve known about the manga for years and was thinking about eventually reading it, but this is just terrible.

First of all, everything looks good enough, the animation or more accurately the design is great, which makes the cheap static fights so much more jarring.
The biggest issue for me is the stupidity of the characters...its one of those "lets do anything we can in order to justify this plot armor" situations and it makes it unwatchable for me.

This might be just me being too agro about this, and its ... true that I do hate stupid decisions - or lack of them - that lead to what then seems like worthless, useless plot if only someone didnt make that mistake before. But here its almost impossible to ignore, for example which isnt really spoiler - there is a fight in a camp at night, everyone sleeps during the whole fight, ppl die, kid screams, monster comes...they still sleep during the fight and only wake up at the end to save the bad guy...which the MC could kill at any time since the ppl showed in a blink of an eye.
I personally can not ignore shat like that and I know it will make any future plot till the time the guy dies absolutely unbearable for me, and looking at the 160-ish chapters the sauce has I cant help but wonder, how much shorter would it be, if the ppl in your story were not complete idiots?

Best "villainess" anime I watched so far (out of 5or so). I did not expect to get actual decent writing, characters and romance.

It has a little rough start where it seems like we will be fed some bad "misunderstanding" comedy about her roleplaying as villain (think "KageJitsu at home"). But this stops after few episodes as she gets older...which leads me to one of the downsides - this show has too many time skips, idk if they are in the sauce or its to save time/money...Its def weird and breaks the story a bit but its not a deal breaker.

The main story plot is ... actually pretty interesting while it goes, and characters well written...I can not stress enough how refreshing this is.
In case you forgot what well written characters mean (I cant blame you) here is summary:
Unlikable characters are that way for a reason, not for being annoying or useless, there seem to be actual reasons behind ppls behavior, MC isnt dull and empty, only abusing the isekai plot armor and she often makes things harder for herself just cause she wants to be true to her role she picked actually herself cause it resonated with her, not cause its the games plot...pretty interesting huh?

The main story arc ends before the end and last ep takes us on start of new arc (I assume) leaving this show as "open ended" and in state of "waiting for another season" or "manga bait".

Characters are likable, have development and look good.
A/V and char design is also pretty good.
There is some light comedy. And ACTUAL, REAL romance love interests (no shoujo/shounen based harem even if it may seem like there might be and also no dump sex jokes, ecchi, or anything...just ppl who like each other or those who dont like them...I cant believe it either). xD

Another OP MC that gets plenty levels and new skills every episode doing anything.
Sadly the MC is unlikable wuss and absolute imbecile that constantly shows everyone things he is warned about and even goes into trouble to hide. As I mentioned before, he can do anything so obv be makes things like toilet and fridge (for no reason since he has dimensional storage and purification magic) and puts it in his house where he constantly gets visitors.

This show isnt bad at everything it does, but somehow the sum feels like huge insult to the intellect of average middle schooler., yet alone someone who watched more ... than 10 shows...
I wonder why we have to wait years for next seasons of well received shows, while every season there is shat like this and its specially frustrating this season when these kinds of shows make 50% of it

TL:DR: At this point I dont expect much from it, given how fast it progresses, but I wont be dropping it yet. Sadly I feel like it could be done better (haven't read the sauce tho), but as if now, it's ok as a meal anime.
Not as bad as it might seem, but I recommend you wait few more episodes and check later reviews to give it a try...

Story is mid so far, hard to say at 3rd episode. Def cliche and really fast pace, probably leaving out chunks of source (or maybe not).
Character design and animation is good. Fights are pretty good (sadly given ... how this is often lacking in these kinds of shows).

Normally I would say its pretty decent pick, but it suffers from the same issues plaguing most recent mid lvl fantasy anime releases...
The MC is OP (trash skill turned op so hard he extracts multiple skills from each killed enemy, usually with max lvl too so I dont expect any rewarding progress). The MC is also very naive - minor spoiler ( in 3rd ep I was looking forward to see how they will approach that MC has his 1st waifu with him when he goes to meet the ppl who betrayed him and left him to die, but instead of moral clash between innocent spirit girl and guy looking for revenge we got the MC just forgiving the ppl who used him as a bait for monsters 2eps prior).
The comedic scenes are the classic shounen cringe (its not Naruto lvl, but still bad, I would say barely fine). One thing that was kinda funny is surprisingly the harem, as the way he got his 2nd (the first impression) and 3rd (ykyk) were really surprising and funny.

-Early advice, if you really wanna give it a try, wait some more and see how the score develops, right now its not worth your time.
-Dropping after 3 episodes, cause I dont have nearly enough time to watch another OP MC with all solving skill just running thru some middle school level writing plot and dodging all the backlash that comes from complete lack of common sense.

It has utterly naive cast (storry) - skill fruit is distributed by church for some reason, and if you get wrong skill they ignore you, and if you get strong one, they pretty much take you away to ... fight for them...ofc everyone is totally ok with it.

MC is moron who is the only one in history with 2 abilities, so instead of packing and leaving for next kingdom (or at least city) to start anew...he walks to local town where everyone knows his previous job and casually announces he got new one.
He continues to do this crap, even telling ppl about the skills of others, including some young girl who shouldnt have had one yet.

Calling this a comedy would be the best joke in the entire show....

Story about OP MC that's only supposed to be OP alone, but the story does great job ignoring this fact completely, leading to the biggest disappointment at n1 :
Comedy - most of the "comedic situations" revolves around our OP MC being OP and casually clearing strong monsters, etc...with the punchline being his honestly nice and cute, but annoying and nosy class rep-friend giving him shit for doing anything mildly dangerous, or like any good mother, leaving house w/o permission or coming back late (yes those are real examples). And the OP MC able ... to solo clear whole dungeon simply takes it and listens like a good boy cause he is...oh yes "not very good with social interaction". Which you might have guessed never happens or matters, unless a "joke" is needed.
Action - most of the fights are static, so action is almost non-existent
Char design - at least here I have nothing to complain about, everyone looks good and we have some

Over all I am kinda mad I didn't drop it when I wanted around ep 3-4. During that time I read someone's review here and for some reason forgot that fanboys exist. That person was begging readers of his review not to drop this sh..show and give it a chance. To give him the benefit of doubt it is possible that the sauce is good and with better budget, more episodes, or some miracle this would be decent show.
But as it is now, I don't believe this is worth anyone's time, even as a "eating show".

Its not bad, obviously it being action comedy with goofy premise its not good either, but jokes are ok, girls are cute, mc isnt complete idiot and its not cringy (iirc).

IMO its a decent pick for watching while you eat so far, but who knows if its still the same at ep 7 im prolly out xDD

Not a spoiler: the last ep surprised me with how brutal that crazy ... cute girl was in that verbal abuse she gave to our cute thic short-twin-tail girl and that MC didnt rly help that poor litt...ehm that much, but I get that hes scared of her too. And Ai did such a great job in that scene, as usually ^^
Still I need to see some character improvement and giving the pacing till now, I have my doubts - just an FYI

If you can stomach the naive MC (its not that bad tbh, he seems to have some idea) then I would suggest waiting if next season drops.
The audio-visual is great, and its not rly boring per se, it just have pacing of 20+ep anime. Sadly it only has 12ep right now and we got some proper action and villain intro just now at ep 9.
Hence the recommendation to wait for next season, unless you wanna see 4 action episodes, followed by cliff hanger and wait 2 years to continue.
Over all its pretty good and who did their homework and checked what else the author ... made they probably know whats up.
Solid 7/10 where visual isnt just wasted on mid plot...well at least so far. I did not read the sauce and we will have to wait and see when and what comes in the future.
