Although Punpun is viewed as a simplistic cartoon bird, everyone sees him just fine. and he is just fine, Punpun said that himself.

Us viewers see Punpun as a bird (as well as his whole family). we can only ever tell they're like us (people) by their feelings, emotions, and actions. essentially we only get to see how they are rather than what they are. in a way it's helpful for keeping your focused solely on Punpun's story that you somehow feel familiarity with. even though you're not as familiar with the timeline.

Punpun was, like all child have been at one point, innocent. He was an ...

Preliminary (1/6 chp)
Mod Note: This review was initially posted for the one-shot, Kusatta Rasen, and was subsequently merged into Rakuda Tsukai to Ouji no Yoru.

the cover didn't explain much, nor did the summary so i ventured on a mystery read. this oneshot is very heavy with the dark and psychological side and progresses more to that as the story goes on. the characters are not lovable, or even likable at all. what i felt while reading this was pity, though that's not exclusive to everyone. the dark cloud aside, art is wonderful and is very fitting to the story's atmosphere.

anyway, it was a good read. unique story.

If you're looking for something slow-paced, lots of heart flutters and (beautiful) art type of BL story, then this one's definitely right for you.

You'd find that the greatest thing about this is the art and how the story is portrayed. Hayakawa Nojiko's art is one of the most soothing and calming i've encountered yet.

though you won't for sure enjoy the characters, as some are just there to fill the role, the story-telling and art will make you pardon that. the story of Endou-kun and Tsuda kun is, like i said, slow paced but you'll come to ride along with it.

you'll really ...

Akiyama-kun (Manga) add
Preliminary (6/28 chp)
Akiyama-kun is some shit you can really appreciate. great art, plot, and characters. the fact that it's not your typical uke/seme story is satisfying already.

A straightforward Shiba is seriously in love with the nonchalant Akiyama-kun. you will feel all sorts of things from the moment you read it. and don't even try to predict what happens because you'll end up guessing 'til daylight. Not knowing what comes next is one of this story's charm.

Nobara Aiko's done a beautiful job giving this story an edge of sexy and fluffy, something that'll definitely keep you wanting more.
