Aah, the first 9 episodes are worth the watch for art and whimsy alone! This could have been more than a 7/10 anime but the plot sort of imploded on itself and lost it's way around epiosde 9. I didn't finish for a long time after watching episode 9 but came back to finish the last 4 episodes at 1.5 x speed just to say I finished it. The last four episodes were as dissapointing as I was expecting them to be, and really lacked the whimsical elements of the first 9 that had me hooked at first.

I can't finish this anime. How is this Slice-of-Life when the main female character is so clearly a sociopath?!?! Within 15 minutes of the first episode she
1. Sucker punches a guy for no reason 2. Destroys a classroom and doesn't clean it up 3. Breaks into someones house and 4. Proceeds to fight him with a wooden sword, babbling nonsense the entire time 5. Eats his food without so much as a thank you 6. REFUSES TO LEAVE HIS HOUSE AFTER A CLEAR MISUNDERSTANDING THAT COULD BE SOLVED WITH WORDS I can't. I just can't. This isn't cute. How is this anime rated so high? Okay so I'm writing this review after watching the ninth episode, I wrote this for my friends because we had discussed it's heavy themes and many were hesitant to try the anime out. Having already watched the first two episodes at that point, I decided I was intrigued enough to keep going despite how icky the introduction made me feel. The way this anime toys with your feelings; throwing you into a beautifully drawn depiction of the real world with colourful characters, only to hit you with very dark topics and creepy a** antagonists with unfortunately real motivations.
