Both mangas deal with the idea of a man finding his wife cheating on him with another man and hence, falling in a relationship with him. Both mangas are funny and the art is gorgeous. Highly recommended for a quick laugh.

Both ukes have a strange sexual appeal that entices their partners regardless of any other factors. They both have a beauty mark below their lip and share bad experiences in the past which causes them to be unable to trust in anyone in the present. DF is set in a normal business place between a superior and his subordinate while AT switches between a prison setting mixed with a yakuza background. Both are excellent reads since the characters go through a fair deal in order to change their personalities for the better.

Sono Koi ni wa Wake ga Aru

Character-wise, both ukes share a feline-like appeal where they are both constantly being compared to a cat in both scenarios. The partners are able to understand their difficult personalities and thus grow a relationship with them. SKnwWgA shares the story of a homophobic boy who ends up falling in love with his mysterious classmate despite himself while AT shares the love story between an ex-yakuza and an ex-prostitue who met each other in jail. Both are lovely stories yet SKnwWgA has much more humor since the characters are more comical and over-dramatic in a sense (fun way) while AT shows a deeper, rougher side of life for those who skewed off their paths.

My Life With You

Both mangas involve the love story between two men involved in the military. In HnB, the two are enemies due to their race and culture while MLwY shows the relationship between a soldier and his rescued victim who becomes an important part of the technical military. Both stories share the same vibe of an impassioned love story. Wheres MLwY spans one volume, HnB continues to grow from at least four scanlated volumes. HnB places more obstacles in the way of the two and their love grows more and more forbidden as the manga progresses. Both are excellent reads and deserves re-reads when finished. Read it. No regrets from this end.

Tsuki to Yabanjin

Both short volumes share an almost fantastical love story between two men of either different races (Tsuki to Yabanjin) or of different social classes (Taiyou no Kikoushi). The main leads share common aspects to their personalities such as the semes are bold and are accustomed to getting exactly what they want while the ukes have shy but strong personalities that puzzle and intrigue their partners. In my personal opinion, I like Taiyou better because I can connect better with the uke since he has grown because of all the failures in his life. But, please read both. Both stories give a lovely atmosphere that you'll be lost in and be begging for more even as you turn the last few pages.

Both mangas portray the adventures of the main characters in a relaxed way that is peppered with action and romantic scenes appropriate to the flow of the stories. KT 007 involves the working relationship between a cop and his psychic partner with humor, mystery and romance chucked in. Excellent shoujo manga. Asterisk involves the adventures of a seemingly 'regular' angel and his childhood friend who has become a higher angel. Excellent shounen ai manga. Please give them a try. No regrets required.

Both mangas entail the story of a member of a foreign land (Plant Kingdom) who transports to the human world in search of a savior who loves plants with an uncommon affection. Silver Diamond is a well-developed plot with a hilarious cast of characters with different personalities which make for an interesting read. (Over 10 volumes and more) Barairo Emperor is like a crack-version of Silver Diamond shuffled into 1 volume. But, hey if you're looking for a cheap laugh, it's a contender. Personally, SD is the better read and you won't regret it.

Light haired protagonist is seduced by the erotic looks of the dark haired protagonist. Hilarious scenes and additional characters present. Both protagonists are on opposite sides and supposed to be enemies but instead fall in love. Honto being a yakuza heir and a policeman while Junketsu involves a cultural leader and the sports leader. Honto Yajuu spans several volumes (5 at present) while Junketsu remains 1 volume.

Gekkou Teien

A girl cross dresses as a boy to enter an all-boys' school to follow another boy (whether romance or admiration). In Hana Kimi, the series is longer and the girl's real gender is the climax of the end of the story. In Gekkou Teien, the series is sweet and short and the girl's identity is already known. The art in Gekkou is more appealing because it is more modernized (to me). Both rate at least an 8 because the storyline is believable and not too outrageous.

Gender bender of idols. Teppen!! is only 8 chapters where a girl mistakenly becomes a male idol along with the love interest. Tenshi Ja Nai!! is a 40 chapter manga where a girl shipped to a boarding school mistakenly uncovers a male disguised as a female idol. Both have excellent and engaging art work and are completed.
