This anime is sad in a way since it had so much potential but in the end it didn't live up to the expectations of people or follow the manga. Now to explain why people have an issue with the last episode of Tokyo Ghoul √A


The issue many people have (including me) is the last episode leaves a lot of un answered questions and does not answer previous questions. Also does not show the back story on the characters introduced in this season. Which is a problem since instead of following the manga this anime goes in a different route aka route √A so ... people figured it would be different but would be good in it's own way.

What ends up happening in this anime is it glazes over a lot of arcs, characters and combines it all together. Making i it hard to understand what is happening in the story and causes a lackluster anime ending.

I would say if you're a fan of Tokyo Ghoul this is a anime worth a watch just to see some more Tokyo Ghoul content. If you're not then, I suggest you read the manga then come back to see this if you feel up to it. All in all I would not recommend watching this anime unless you already have the knowledge of what happens in the story.
