I have never really been a fan of the over-used-genre of the "magical girl," but I had read that this series seems to take you by surprise and allows you to see unexpected side to the genre. So i decided to give it a shot, and here I am writing a review on it.
Story: 8/10
The story was pretty generic, the whole "having to collect an object” (in this case Star Drops) to save someone or something. Even though this anime kept to that, I kept wanting more and more because in its own way, Nanatsuiro Drops kept a fresh view on the magical girl cliché

When I first came across Kobato, the anime at first glance seemed interesting but I wasn't sure if it would end up being my cup of tea. Now that I look back, I know I would have regreted not watching it because of how amazing it turned out to be.
Words can't describe how much I loved this anime. It was so heartwarming and cute, you didn’t want to stop watching. Kobato had a tear-jerker side imbedded into it, just like a jewel on a ring, making the piece even more beautiful.
